You can view monthly Cash App account statements in the app or on the web, and find individual payment receipts in Activity. Cash App’s public instructions explain how to open a monthly statement, but do not specify a CSV export option or the statement’s file format.
Get a monthly statement in the Cash App app
- Open Cash App and tap the Profile icon.
- Tap Documents & statements.
- Choose Account statements.
- Select the year and month you need, if prompted, and open the statement.
Cash App says monthly statements are made available during the last five business days of each month. If the month you expect is missing, check that you selected the right year and account, and consider whether that availability window has passed. Cash App’s statement instructions
View a monthly statement on the web
- Sign in at cash.app/account.
- Choose Documents on the left, then select Account statements.
- Use the dropdown arrow to expand the year you need.
- Click Open next to the month.
Cash App’s published steps say to open a monthly statement; they do not identify a download button, a file type, or a CSV export. If you need a particular export format, check the options in your signed-in account or contact Cash App through its official support channels rather than giving a third-party service access to your account. Cash App’s Terms of Service say customers can view transaction histories covering 12 months and 24 months in the app or at cash.app/account, depending on the account or product coverage described in the terms. Find the right tax document for a business account
Tax forms and account statements serve different purposes. For tax year 2025, Cash App says qualifying business-account users with more than $20,000 and more than 200 transactions will receive a Form 1099-K by February 2, 2026. Cash App says the form and transaction summary are available in the app under Settings > Documents; state reporting thresholds may be lower. Cash App says personal accounts do not receive a Form 1099-K from it, except when someone previously had a business account and crossed the stated threshold before switching to a personal account. A Form 1099-K reports gross payments; that amount is not necessarily the same as taxable income. If you cannot find the record you need
- A month is missing: Confirm the selected year and account, then check whether Cash App’s stated monthly availability period has passed.
- You need proof of one payment: Look for its receipt in Activity, rather than searching the monthly-statement menu. Cash App Terms of Service
