There isn’t enough verified information to name 14 current Amazon electric trikes or rank them fairly. The available sources support a more useful buying approach: compare the exact model and battery configuration, distinguish motor power from torque, and treat range figures as manufacturer claims rather than promises. Two models with published specifications—Lectric XP Trike2 and Pedego Fat Tire Trike—show what to check before buying.
Why this isn’t a verified list of 14 Amazon trikes
A 14-product Amazon roundup requires current listings that can be matched to manufacturer specifications. That match has not been established for 14 models. A 2026 secondary roundup calls the Jasion Electric Trike an Amazon pick, but that alone does not verify a live listing, seller, exact configuration, or included accessories. Treat it as a lead, not a confirmed recommendation. Ebike Oracle’s roundup is a secondary source.
Another 2026 roundup names models including Lectric XP Trike2, Addmotor Grandtan, Sixthreezero EVRYjourney, Liberty Trike, Mooncool TK1, and Schwinn Meridian Electric. Those names can help you build a shortlist, but a roundup is not enough to verify current Amazon availability or specifications. Ebike Gear Lab’s roundup is also a discovery source, not an independent comparative test.
How to compare torque, range and comfort
Torque is not the same as wattage
Watts describe motor power; torque describes turning force. A higher wattage figure does not, by itself, establish that one trike has more torque or will feel stronger on a hill. Compare torque only when the manufacturer publishes a torque figure for the exact model. Neither of the two official product pages cited here supplies a torque number, so they cannot be ranked by torque from these specifications.

Read range as an “up to” claim
Maximum range is conditional, not a reliable prediction of how far every rider will travel. Rider and cargo weight, terrain, assist level, stops, weather, and battery condition can affect distance. Compare the battery’s voltage and amp-hours—or watt-hours where provided—alongside the manufacturer’s maximum. A larger capacity is useful context, but it does not guarantee a particular distance.
Check fit and comfort in the exact configuration
For a three-wheeled bike, comfort is more than the saddle. Check step-through access, stated rider-height range, seat and backrest, riding position, tire size, suspension, and whether the controls are practical for the rider. Features can differ between versions of the same model. The cited product pages do not establish a directly comparable rider-height range or suspension specification for both examples, so check the configuration you intend to buy.

Separate payload from cargo capacity
Payload generally refers to the load limit defined by the manufacturer; do not assume it means basket capacity. Confirm whether the published limit includes rider and cargo, and look for a separate rating for baskets or other accessories. For Pedego, the cited page gives a 325 lb payload figure but does not make a separate basket-capacity figure available in the information summarized here.
What the published specifications say about two examples
| Model and source | Motor and assist | Battery and claimed range | Load and comfort details | Other published details |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lectric XP Trike2, standard version; manufacturer specifications | Motor wattage and torque: not stated in the cited summary. | 48V, 13Ah (624Wh); manufacturer-claimed range up to 50 miles. | Foldable design is described; other comparable fit and comfort values are not stated in the cited summary. | Confirm model year and configuration on the manufacturer page. |
| Lectric XP Trike2, long-range version; manufacturer specifications | 750W motor; torque figure not stated. Manufacturer describes a torque sensor. | 17.5Ah battery; manufacturer-claimed range up to 70 miles. Voltage and watt-hours are not stated in the cited summary. | Foldable design is described; other comparable fit and comfort values are not stated in the cited summary. | Different battery and sensor configuration from the standard version. |
| Pedego Fat Tire Trike; manufacturer specifications | 750W nominal, 1,276W peak; five cadence-assist levels and three torque-assist levels. A torque figure in units such as Nm is not stated. | 52V, 17.5Ah; manufacturer-claimed range up to 75 miles. | 325 lb payload; fat tires and comfort saddle features are described. Separate basket capacity is not stated in the cited summary. | Manufacturer lists a 15 mph top speed and says the model is UL 2849 and UL 2271 certified. |
These are manufacturer-published claims, not results from a head-to-head test. The figures should not be read as proof that one model travels farther in ordinary riding: configurations differ, and the XP Trike2 range claims are explicitly maximums. See Lectric’s XP Trike2 page and Pedego’s Fat Tire Trike page for the product details.

What to verify before ordering through Amazon
- Match the model name and configuration. Compare the listing with the manufacturer page, including battery size, motor, sensors, and model year. A title that says “long range” is not enough to identify the configuration.
- Check the seller and what is included. Verify who sells and ships the trike, which accessories are included, and whether the listing photos and specifications match the manufacturer’s version.
- Read return and warranty terms. Confirm who handles a return, whether freight or restocking costs apply, and how warranty service is accessed. These terms can differ between a marketplace seller and the manufacturer.
- Confirm service and parts support. Ask how to obtain compatible replacement parts and where repairs can be handled. For a heavy or folding trike, storage and transport also matter; check the published weight and folded dimensions where available.
- Review the safety documentation. Look for the manufacturer’s battery and electrical-system information, charger instructions, and any certification claim for the exact model. Do not infer whole-bike certification from a claim about one component.
- Check current recalls. Search the current recall database for the exact model and configuration rather than assuming a notice for a related product applies.
Safety details that matter for an electric trike
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advises riders to wear a bicycle helmet, follow the manufacturer’s charging instructions, use the supplied or recommended charger, and replace a battery only with one the device manufacturer confirms is compatible. It also advises following local traffic laws and keeping both hands on the handlebars. See the CPSC e-bike safety guidance.
CPSC describes UL 2849 as a standard for e-bike electrical systems and says relevant voluntary standards address system components and risks including fire and shock. A certification statement should be read precisely: a battery-pack standard is not automatically the same as certification of the complete electrical system. In a December 20, 2022 release, CPSC said compliance with relevant UL standards “significantly reduces the risk of injuries and deaths from micromobility device fires”; that is a risk-reduction statement, not a guarantee of safety. See the CPSC release.

A September 7, 2023 CPSC recall notice covers disc-brake calipers on specified Lectric XP 3.0 models; it does not name the XP Trike2. Do not treat the notice as an XP Trike2 recall, and check the current CPSC recalls database for the exact trike you are considering.
