To choose a quick-commerce app, first check which services deliver to your exact address. Then compare the same grocery basket in each available app, using the final checkout total and the delivery estimate shown at that time. Include stock, fees and membership conditions in the decision; no app is universally cheapest or fastest based on the available evidence.
Start with delivery to your exact address
This comparison applies to services in India. Blinkit says it operates in selected geographies and publishes a city list; Instamart describes service in selected localities of serviceable Indian cities. A city appearing on a list does not confirm coverage at a particular street or postal code. Enter your delivery address in each app before comparing prices. Blinkit’s FAQ and city list and Instamart’s service page can help you identify options, but the app’s address check is the practical test.
Compare the same basket, not headline prices
Choose a representative list of groceries you regularly buy. Match brands, package sizes and quantities as closely as possible in each app, and note anything unavailable or replaced with a substitute. A price comparison is misleading if one basket has fewer items or smaller packages.
Product prices and stock can differ. Instamart’s terms say merchants determine product prices and that fulfillment depends on availability. Zepto’s lowest-price language is qualified as an average comparison and subject to stock; it does not show that every item or local basket will be the cheapest. Instamart’s terms and Zepto’s terms describe these qualifications.

Use the final checkout total
Compare what you would actually pay before confirming the order—not a product price, delivery-fee headline or advertised discount on its own. Include the item subtotal and every charge displayed at checkout, such as delivery, platform, handling, small-cart, packaging, surge, rain or late-night fees. Also note which discounts or membership benefits actually apply.
Fees can change with the order and operating conditions. Instamart says applicable charges are disclosed at checkout and may depend on factors including basket value, distance, time, demand, traffic, weather and seasonal peaks. Blinkit also lists possible charges and says fees can vary with the order and real-time factors. Check the estimate and whether the order works for you
Read the delivery estimate shown for your address and basket at the moment you compare. It is more relevant to that order than a general promotional or historical delivery promise, but it should not be treated as a guarantee. The available information does not establish a universal winner for speed or reliability across locations and times. Evaluate membership against your own ordering habits
Before paying for a membership, check its current price, qualifying order thresholds and which benefits apply to your orders. Swiggy’s terms say One and One Lite benefits apply above specified amounts shown in the app, and that plan benefits can change. A membership is not automatically a saving: compare the applicable benefit with your expected order frequency and basket sizes. Check the current conditions in the app and Swiggy One’s terms.

Make a fair comparison in a few minutes
- Check coverage: Enter the same delivery address in each app and exclude services that cannot deliver there.
- Build a typical basket: Use your usual products, matching brands, sizes and quantities where possible.
- Record availability: Note missing items and substitutions rather than treating unlike baskets as equivalent.
- Compare checkout totals: Record the item subtotal, all displayed charges, and any discount or membership condition applied.
- Note the delivery estimate: Capture the estimate shown for that address and order at the time of comparison.
- Repeat if the decision matters: Compare more than one typical order, because stock and charges vary.
This method helps you choose based on your own address and shopping pattern; it is not a claim that any one app has been tested or ranked across locations.
Account for product quality and support
A blanket freshness or quality ranking is not established by the available information. Instamart’s terms place product pricing and product warranties with merchants and say the platform does not warrant product quality. What the comparison can—and cannot—tell you
Blinkit, Instamart and Zepto are options to check where they serve your address. The useful result is which one offers the best combination for your particular basket at that time: serviceability, equivalent items in stock, checkout total, delivery estimate and any membership conditions you can actually use.
