Sign in, provide the ownership and property details the portal requests, complete its verification and payment steps, then check the issued document using its Fard ID and verification code on the official verification page. If the record is not computerized, contact the relevant area Patwari; PLRA also offers in-person service through Arazi Record Centres and authorized Arazi Moawin locations.
What a Punjab Fard tells you
A Fard is an official land-record document with information such as land area, location and recorded ownership. PLRA says it may be used for sale, court, loan or verification purposes. It is a record extract, not an all-purpose guarantee that a property has no other claims, disputes or legal issues.
PLRA offers separate Fard purposes, including Information Fard and Sale Fard. Choose the one that matches your need; if the document is for a specific transaction, confirm the current requirements with PLRA or the relevant authority handling that transaction.
How to get a Fard online
- Open the official Punjab Zameen Fard Online portal and select the Fard service.
- Sign in and follow the portal’s current instructions for ownership verification and property details. PLRA’s FAQ identifies an original CNIC and details such as Khewat, Khasra or Registry information as useful to have ready. The exact form and labels may change.
- Review the selected Fard purpose and follow the portal’s payment instructions. Charges vary by purpose and record particulars, so use the amount shown during the current transaction rather than relying on a general price quoted elsewhere.
- After receiving the document, open the official LRMIS Fard/mutation verification page, choose the Fard verification option and enter the Fard ID and verification code printed on the document.
PLRA also says its Punjab Zameen mobile app can be used to manage land records, verify ownership, apply for a Fard and track mutation status. Use the official PLRA site to find the app and confirm you have the genuine service.

What to prepare before applying
- Identity: Keep your CNIC available. PLRA lists an original CNIC among the relevant information for obtaining a Fard.
- Property identifiers: Gather the Khewat, Khasra or Registry details you have. These help identify the record; the portal will specify what it needs for your case.
- Purpose: Know whether you need an Information Fard or a Sale Fard. The purpose affects the applicable charges.
- Payment: Check the amount and payment method shown by the service you are using. PLRA says Fard charges vary by purpose and include service charges; the e-Khidmat service calculates its fee during processing based on property and record particulars.
Choose the right service route

PLRA’s homepage provides a service-centre locator and lists “Get a Fard” and “Green Property Certificate” as distinct services. Check the official site for a current location, service availability and any requirements before travelling.
If your property record does not appear online
An online result depends on the record being available in the system and on identifying it correctly. The e-Khidmat guidance says that a non-computerized record should be taken up with the relevant area Patwari. If you need an assisted Fard service, contact an ARC or a PLRA-authorized Arazi Moawin point and ask what applies to your record.

For e-Khidmat in particular, its published requirements include the owner’s presence and a computerized record. If either condition is not met, ask the counter or the relevant Patwari about the next step instead of assuming an online application or counter visit will resolve it.
Verify the Fard before relying on it
Use the official LRMIS verification interface and the Fard ID and verification code printed on the document. The interface also provides separate controls for mutation verification, so select the check that matches the document you have.

Fard and Green Property Certificate are separate services
PLRA describes a Green Property Certificate (GPC) as a digitally generated certificate concerning legal status, ownership and possession. Its published process starts with an in-person ARC visit and includes token issuance, property details, identity and NADRA biometric checks, review of the record and history, and approval. PLRA lists a fee of PKR 900 on its GPC information page; check that page and the ARC before paying, because fees and procedures can change.

PLRA’s current information lists both Fard and GPC services. It does not establish that a GPC has universally replaced a Fard or is mandatory for every property transaction. Ask PLRA or the authority handling your specific transaction which document is required.

There is no single fee that applies to every Fard route and purpose. PLRA’s FAQ says the amount depends on whether the request is for an Information Fard or Sale Fard and includes service charges; e-Khidmat says it calculates the charge from the property and record particulars during processing. Confirm the displayed fee and payment channel with the service you choose before paying.
For service-centre locations, authorized Arazi Moawin outlets, live portal instructions and current charges, start with the PLRA website or contact PLRA through its listed official channels.
