1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo check an Indian IPO allotment, use the official portal of the registrar appointed for that issue, or an official exchange lookup. Select the IPO and enter the identifier the page requests—commonly PAN, application number, or DP ID/client number. Check after allotment is complete; if the IPO or result is not listed, verify the registrar and try an official route again later.
Where to check an IPO allotment
The registrar is appointed separately for each IPO, so first identify the registrar for your issue rather than assuming every offering uses the same portal. The NSE Issue Information page displays issue-specific registrar details. Its retrieved record, updated 21 September 2026, named MUFG Intime India Private Limited, formerly Link Intime India Private Limited; that does not mean it handles every IPO.
You can also use an official exchange route where available. Prefer the registrar or exchange page linked from an authoritative issue source, especially when confirming a portal address or entering PAN.
How to check your IPO allotment status
- Find the appointed registrar. Check official issue information or the offer documents for the IPO you applied to. Confirm the name for that specific issue.
- Open the registrar’s official status page. KFin Technologies currently directs investors to ipostatus.kfintech.com and asks for PAN. If you are unsure whether a bookmarked address is current, follow the link from an official issuer or exchange page.
- Select the IPO and enter the requested identifier. Depending on the portal, you may be able to search by PAN, application number, or DP ID/client number. The Association of Investment Bankers of India lists those options; the fields available differ by portal. Enter only the information requested on the official page.
- Submit the lookup and read the result. Check after the allotment process is complete. A blank response or missing IPO entry is not, by itself, evidence that you were not allotted shares.
- If needed, try an official exchange lookup. NSE’s IPO bid-verification module accepts an issue symbol and PAN or application number. It verifies bid details uploaded by a member or bank and also provides allotment information supplied by the registrar.
How the official lookup routes differ
| Route | Useful for | What you may need | Important limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Appointed registrar’s portal | Direct, issue-specific allotment lookup | PAN, application number, or DP ID/client number, depending on the portal | The registrar and accepted fields vary by issue and portal. Follow the current official link. |
| NSE IPO bid verification | Checking bid details uploaded by a member or bank; it also displays registrar-supplied allotment information | Issue symbol plus PAN or application number | NSE says bid details become available on T+1 after the bid is received and remain available through 10 days after issue closure. This is the bid-detail window, not a universal deadline for allotment results. |
| BSE or another exchange route | An alternative official lookup where available | Use the information requested on the exchange’s current page | Page behavior and availability can vary; check the current exchange instructions. |
What to do if your allotment status is not showing
The IPO is missing from the list
Check that you have the correct issue and its appointed registrar. The page may not yet show the IPO or its result. Try another official route or check again later instead of interpreting a missing entry as rejection.
#1 Best Overall
The portal says “no record” or returns a blank result
Recheck the identifier and its format, then confirm you are on the official page for the right issue. A blank response can have more than one cause; public guidance does not establish one explanation for every case. If the issue remains unresolved, use another official registrar or exchange route.
Your bid appears, but the allotment does not
Bid verification and allotment are distinct information. NSE’s module verifies bid details uploaded by a member or bank and separately provides allotment information supplied by the registrar. Seeing bid details does not itself establish the allotment result.
Rank #2
You are unsure whether a PAN page is genuine
Use only the official registrar or exchange page reached from an authoritative issue source. KFintech’s current portal requests PAN, so do not enter it into a lookalike page or an unofficial status aggregator.

Check after the allotment process is complete; the Association of Investment Bankers of India advises applicants to do so through BSE or the appointed registrar. There is no universal publication time established here. NSE’s T+1-to-10-days window applies to bid-detail availability, not to a guaranteed date for every IPO allotment result.
