Check your receipt or card statement first, then use the matching steps below. A paid plan normally stays active through the current billing period; a free trial ends immediately when canceled.
First, identify who bills your subscription
The cancellation menu depends on where you bought Premium. Your receipt, bank statement or app-store purchase history will show the billing provider.
| Purchase method | Where to cancel |
|---|---|
| LinkedIn website or LinkedIn mobile web on iPhone | LinkedIn desktop website |
| LinkedIn Android app, billed directly by LinkedIn | LinkedIn Android app or desktop website |
| LinkedIn iOS app purchase | Apple Subscriptions |
| Google Play purchase | Google Play or LinkedIn’s subscription-management flow |
LinkedIn distinguishes an Apple App Store purchase from a purchase made on LinkedIn’s mobile website in Safari. The latter is billed by LinkedIn and cannot be canceled in the iOS app. See LinkedIn’s cancellation instructions.
Cancel Premium billed directly by LinkedIn
On a desktop browser
- Click Me at the top of LinkedIn.
- Select Premium features.
- In the left pane, under Plan Details, click Manage subscription.
- When LinkedIn Admin Center opens, click Purchases.
- Select your Active subscription.
- Under Actions, choose Cancel subscription.
- Click Confirm cancel and finish any prompts.
Some interfaces label the entry point Subscription details under Resources instead of Manage subscription under Plan Details. Either label leads to subscription management. LinkedIn documents this variation in its Google Play subscription guidance.

What cancellation changes
Paid plans
A paid subscription normally remains active until the end of its current billing cycle and then returns to LinkedIn’s Basic plan without renewing. Your profile, connections and account data remain. Premium features and accumulated InMail credits expire; LinkedIn says unused accumulated InMail credits cannot be credited back. Details are in LinkedIn’s Premium cancellation help.
Free trials
Canceling a free trial ends Premium access immediately. To avoid conversion to a paid plan, LinkedIn says to cancel at least one day before the next scheduled billing date. For subscriptions purchased through LinkedIn’s desktop site, LinkedIn sends a trial-ending reminder to the primary email address. See LinkedIn’s trial reminder information.

Promotions and discounted offers
Canceling a promotion or a plan no longer offered voids its discounted price. LinkedIn says a canceled promotion cannot be restored or repurchased at the same price.
Cancellation is not a refund
Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically reverse the latest charge. LinkedIn says an eligible Premium purchase may be refundable within seven days of the charge if Premium has not been used, subject to its policy. Review LinkedIn’s consumer refund policy. Apple must handle refund requests for iOS App Store purchases.

Premium still appears active
That is normal for a paid plan until the current billing period ends. A canceled trial, by contrast, should lose Premium access immediately.
LinkedIn is missing from Apple Subscriptions
You likely paid LinkedIn directly, including through LinkedIn mobile web on iPhone. Use the desktop LinkedIn path rather than Apple Settings.
LinkedIn is missing from Google Play
Switch Google Play to every Google Account you may have used; Google says a missing subscription can belong to another account. LinkedIn does not provide purchase history for Google-billed subscriptions, so check Google order history.
You deleted the app or account
Uninstalling LinkedIn does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Closing your LinkedIn account is also not the cancellation procedure. Cancel Premium first, then close the account if you still want to do so, as explained by LinkedIn’s account-closure guidance.
There is no Cancel button
On Apple, an absent button or red expiration notice means the subscription is already canceled. On LinkedIn or Google Play, verify that you are signed in to the purchasing account and have opened the Active subscription. If it is still absent, use the receipt to identify the actual billing provider.
You need it canceled immediately
LinkedIn’s standard process schedules directly billed plans to end with the billing cycle. LinkedIn says you can contact support about immediate cancellation for directly billed subscriptions; for Apple purchases, only Apple can decide whether to end access immediately. See LinkedIn’s Premium FAQ and LinkedIn support options.

Canceling renewal prevents the next renewal but does not remove remaining payments in the current payment plan after a payment-plan charge. Google describes this distinction in its subscription help.
Can you cancel without signing in?
For some subscriptions in the United States and Germany, LinkedIn may offer a cancellation form without sign-in. Availability depends on the subscription and jurisdiction; start with LinkedIn’s cancellation help to see whether the option appears.
