How to buy Super Bowl tickets online
NFL tickets are not generally released through a public general sale. The NFL distributes tickets to clubs and other parties, including participating and host clubs. Those groups make allocations available to season-ticket holders and others in local communities, as well as partners, sponsors, and the host committee. Ticketmaster describes this distribution process in its NFL ticket guide.
For a future game, check the NFL’s official channels and relevant club or host-committee announcements for any allocation information. If you shop resale, Ticketmaster identifies the NFL Ticket Exchange by Ticketmaster as the NFL’s official resale marketplace. That is a general description of the process; it does not mean tickets for a particular game are available.
How to compare resale listings
Compare like with like rather than choosing the lowest headline number. Ticketmaster says resale prices vary by location, matchup, seat location, and purchase date. Its guidance also distinguishes resale listings from the original ticket distribution process.

- Number of seats: Check whether the listing offers the quantity you need and whether seats are together.
- Listing date: Record when you checked; prices and inventory can change.
- Marketplace: Keep quotes from different sellers separate.
- Fees: Confirm whether the displayed total includes fees before comparing prices.
How much were Super Bowl 2025 tickets?

Because these figures come from different dates, platforms, and definitions, they should not be averaged into a supposed going rate. They also do not establish face value or the single lowest price available at any moment.

When is the best time to buy?
The 2025 snapshots do not establish a dependable buying window. One price measure fell after the matchup was set, while other reports captured different dates and listing types. TIME reported that prices were expected to fall, but that was a contemporaneous forecast—not a guarantee that waiting will save money. Compare the total cost of suitable listings when you are ready to buy rather than relying on a rule that prices always decline near kickoff.
The Associated Press reported StubHub attributed price dynamics partly to the Caesars Superdome’s ability to accommodate over 15,000 more fans, hotel-room availability, and fan fatigue. Those were a StubHub spokesperson’s explanations, not independently established causes or a forecast for another game.
