The project site states that “Trump Memes are intended to function as an expression of support for, and engagement with, the ideals and beliefs embodied by the symbol "$TRUMP" and the associated artwork, and are not intended to be, or to be the subject of, an investment opportunity, investment contract, or security of any type.” It also says the project is not political and is not connected with a political campaign, political office or government agency; that the TRUMP name and Donald Trump’s name, image and likeness are used under a limited license; and that the product is not distributed or sold by Donald Trump or the Trump Organization.
