Bluehost’s published US price list for 2026 shows a $24.99 registration price and a $29.99 renewal price; optional domain privacy is listed at $15.00. Treat these as published list prices, not a guaranteed checkout quote, and confirm the current price for your region before paying.
What you get when you register a .CC domain
Registering a domain gives you the right to use that web address for the registration period, subject to the registrar’s and registry’s terms. It does not by itself create a website or include a hosting plan. Bluehost says hosting is a separate service needed to create and manage a website, so compare that cost separately if you plan to build a site. Bluehost’s .CC page describes registration, DNS access and optional privacy.
Bluehost’s product page says .CC registration is globally available and suitable for global SEO. Those are Bluehost’s claims, not a guarantee that a particular name can be registered everywhere or that an extension will improve search rankings. Check availability for the exact name and assess SEO on the basis of your site and audience rather than the extension alone.
Bluehost .CC pricing: registration, renewal and privacy
Bluehost’s US domain-price table lists these .CC prices for 2026. Prices may change, and taxes, offers or account-specific renewal pricing can affect the amount charged. Bluehost directs customers to the account renewal center for current renewal pricing.

These are Bluehost’s published US list prices, not a market-wide comparison. The regional currency matters: Bluehost’s UK transfer page lists .CC registration at £24.99, renewal at £29.99 and transfer at £12.99. Do not apply those UK figures to another country. Check Bluehost’s domain pricing table and UK transfer pricing for the relevant regional details.
How to register a .CC domain with Bluehost
- Open Bluehost’s .CC domain page and use its domain search tool to enter the exact name you want.
- Check the result for that specific name. A general .CC offer does not establish that your preferred name is available.
- If it is available, choose a registration period from one to five years, as described on Bluehost’s page.
- Provide the registrant details requested during checkout, then review the registration charge, term, optional privacy selection, taxes and any other items in the total.
- Confirm the renewal amount and payment terms before completing the purchase. Keep access to the Bluehost account used to manage the domain and its renewal.
Bluehost says DNS access follows registration. DNS settings connect the domain to services such as a website or email, but domain registration alone does not supply those services.
Decide whether to add domain privacy
Bluehost describes Domain Privacy Protection as an optional service that masks personal contact details from public WHOIS information. Its US price table lists privacy at $15.00. At checkout, check whether privacy is included, selected by default or charged separately, and verify the service period covered by the displayed total. The listed price alone does not establish the final charge for your region or account.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. If you are transferring an existing .CC domain
A transfer is different from registering a new name. Bluehost says you should unlock the existing domain and obtain its EPP or authorization code before starting. Its general transfer guidance also says current WHOIS privacy must be disabled for a transfer. Check with the current registrar and Bluehost for the exact steps and timing for your domain.
Rank #3
Transfer prices vary by region. Bluehost’s UK transfer page lists .CC transfers at £12.99; that is a UK listing, not a universal transfer quote. Review the transfer charge and any term added to the registration at your regional checkout before proceeding.
