When do 2028 Olympics tickets go on sale?
The next announced general-public Olympic ticket sale is in 2027. LA28 says it will be first-come, first-served rather than using the Ticket Draw and assigned purchase time slots used for earlier drops. LA28 has not published the exact 2027 sale date or start time, ticket prices, session inventory or detailed checkout rules in the official pages cited here. Check the LA28 ticketing page and sign up for LA28 updates for announcements.
First-come, first-served means sale access does not guarantee a ticket to a particular sport or session. Availability will depend on the inventory shown when you shop.
How to buy tickets through official channels
- Check LA28’s official ticketing information. Look for the announced 2027 sale date, current instructions and any updates to the purchase process.
- Use the official purchase route when the sale opens. LA28 names AXS and EVENTIM as official ticketing providers, and tickets are available through LA28’s website. Follow the links and instructions presented there; the detailed checkout sequence for the 2027 sale has not yet been published.
- Choose from the live inventory. Select an event, session and ticket category based on what the official platform actually shows. Prices and availability are not established until LA28 publishes them and presents the sale inventory.
- Review the purchase details before paying. Confirm the session and ticket category in your order, and check the terms displayed by the official platform.
Do you need to enter the LA28 Ticket Draw?
No draw registration is required for the announced 2027 general-public Olympic sale. LA28’s FAQ says there is currently no active draw registration period and that the 2027 sale will not require the draw. Buying resale tickets safely
LA28 advises buyers to wait for its official resale program and verified resale platforms before purchasing resale tickets. Before that program launches, LA28 says it cannot verify resale tickets. The program’s launch date and operating details have not been announced, so check LA28’s updates rather than assuming a resale listing is authorized.

The Olympic Games are scheduled for July 14–30, 2028, and the Paralympic Games for August 15–27, 2028, according to LA28’s ticketing information.
