To add a GoFundMe link to TikTok, open Profile > Edit profile > Add beside Links, then follow the website-link prompts and enter your fundraiser URL. TikTok says website links are available to accounts with at least 1,000 followers or a Registered Business Account. If the option is missing, use another supported channel to share the fundraiser rather than assuming a TikTok caption will make the URL clickable.
1. Copy your GoFundMe fundraiser link
- Open your fundraiser on GoFundMe.
- Choose Share fundraiser or Share, then copy the fundraiser URL. GoFundMe recommends placing the link in your social-media bio when the platform supports it. GoFundMe’s social-media sharing guidance was updated August 31, 2026.
2. Add the link to your TikTok profile
- In TikTok, tap Profile.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Tap Add beside Links, then follow the website-link prompts and enter your GoFundMe URL.
- Complete the prompts shown in the app. Return to your profile and check whether the link appears. TikTok’s instructions say to follow the steps to link a website; they do not specify a separate save button.
TikTok’s documented route is Profile > Edit profile > Add beside Links. The exact prompts may differ if TikTok changes its app or the feature is presented differently in your region. See TikTok’s “Link a website or social media account” instructions.
3. Check whether your account can add a website
TikTok states that an account can add a website link if it has at least 1,000 followers or is a Registered Business Account. The threshold is an eligibility condition for the profile-link feature, not a fundraising result or guarantee. TikTok’s help article uses the term “Registered Business Account”; do not assume a different business-account label means the same thing.
Adding Instagram, YouTube, or Lemon8 is a separate social-account linking feature, not a substitute for entering a GoFundMe website URL. TikTok says social-account linking is not available everywhere.

4. If the website-link option is missing
- Check whether the account meets TikTok’s stated follower or Registered Business Account condition.
- Check the current app and account settings; availability or wording may vary by region or app version.
- If the option remains unavailable, share the fundraiser link through another channel or a social profile that supports a bio link. GoFundMe recommends adding fundraiser links to social bios where possible.
The official instructions cited here do not provide a workaround for an account that cannot add a website link. Do not rely on an ordinary TikTok caption to make a pasted URL clickable.
5. Tell viewers what the fundraiser is for
Pair the profile link with a short, accurate explanation in your video. GoFundMe’s TikTok-specific advice is to keep posts concise, explain why you are raising money, include the link, and ask viewers to share the post and fundraiser link. GoFundMe’s advice on reaching potential donors was updated July 22, 2026.

For example: “I’m raising money for [brief, accurate reason]. If you’re able, please consider donating; sharing this video also helps. The fundraiser link is on my profile.” Use the last sentence only after confirming the link is visible on your profile. If it is not, tell viewers where they can find the fundraiser instead.

GoFundMe notes that fundraiser pages and social posts are public. Keep account credentials, personal account details, and banking information private.
