How does Shelby Frenette’s travel influencer affiliate program work?
TravelFun.Biz invites travel influencers to promote its Travel Agent Program through referral links. The company says affiliates can use an online portal to view analytics, leads, and sales. The intended arrangement is straightforward: a creator shares a link with an audience interested in travel-agent training, and may receive a commission for a qualifying purchase attributed to that link. The offer is for training subscriptions, not travel bookings or travel products. TravelFun.Biz’s affiliate page describes the offer and displays its public commission headline.
A 2023 launch announcement described the program as a way for travel influencers with engaged audiences to refer people to TravelFun.Biz training. That explains the program’s marketing purpose, but does not establish that it changed the travel industry. TechAnnouncer’s October 2, 2023 announcement uses promotional language about the launch; it is not independent evidence of industry-wide impact.
What does the TravelFun.Biz affiliate program pay?
The company’s public affiliate page, accessed October 8, 2026, advertises “EARN 25% PER REFERRAL.” However, the linked affiliate agreement gives a different compensation description: $50 USD for each qualifying new purchase of a Travel Agent Training Program or Social Media Marketing Training Program subscription. The two statements do not establish the same payout, and the available terms do not explain how to reconcile them. Do not assume the 25% is calculated on a particular price or that every referral earns $50. The offer page and the affiliate agreement should both be checked before enrolling.

The agreement is dated September 17, 2023, says terms may change without notice, and makes commissions subject to approval. A purchase that is refunded is not paid as a commission. Because the written agreement is older than the current public offer page, ask TravelFun.Biz to confirm the applicable rate and qualifying purchase rules in writing before promoting the offer. The agreement contains the stated terms.
How are referrals tracked and when are commissions paid?
The agreement states that referral links use a 365-day tracking cookie. It also says commissions are paid monthly only after they are older than 365 days. Those are separate provisions: the cookie describes the stated attribution window, while the payment clause describes a substantial delay before a commission becomes payable. Affiliates should verify whether these terms remain in force and ask how attribution works if a potential customer clicks more than one link. TravelFun.Biz’s agreement is the source for both provisions.

What promotion methods and restrictions apply?
The agreement allows affiliates to share referral links in social-media posts and videos, reviews, blog posts, and helpful answers. It prohibits spam and promotion on coupon sites. Affiliates also may not present themselves as TravelFun.Biz employees or imply that their channel is officially operated by the company. The evidence supports describing a specific creator-led referral offer, not a transformation of the travel industry. The 2023 launch announcement framed the initiative as a way to connect travel creators with people interested in training, but it does not report an independently measured industry-wide adoption rate, sales lift, or other outcome for the affiliate program. Calling it an industry shake-up would go beyond what the available evidence establishes.

There is some broader context about TravelFun.Biz, but it should not be confused with results from the affiliate offer. In June 2024, Travel Weekly profiled advisor Scott Walker, reporting that he used TravelFun’s new-agent and social-media training and mentorship, and that a Greece group trip he worked on with owner Shelby Frenette sold out in a week. That is one reported advisor experience; it does not show that the affiliate program caused the trip’s sales or that the result is typical.
Frenette’s biography describes her as a travel influencer and social-media marketing expert and characterizes TravelFun.Biz as working in group travel and training. Those are the company owner’s own descriptions, rather than independent verification. Her biography provides that account.

What should a prospective affiliate verify before joining?
- Ask which commission applies now: the offer page’s 25% headline or the agreement’s $50 per qualifying new subscription sale.
- Confirm which training subscriptions qualify and how refunds, approval, and attribution affect commissions.
- Verify whether the 365-day cookie and the requirement that commissions be older than 365 days before monthly payment still apply.
- Review the current agreement for promotion restrictions and keep a copy of the terms in effect when you join.
- Consider whether your audience actually wants travel-agent or social-media marketing training; a travel-focused audience alone does not guarantee relevant referrals or earnings.
