Watford’s latest Football Association-published agent-fee total is £1,612,833, covering the reporting period from 4 February 2025 to 2 February 2026. The FA published the figures on 1 April 2026. This is an FA reporting period, not an exact match for a conventional football season.
What Watford’s £1,612,833 figure covers
The Football Association says its reports include the total amounts clubs paid to FA-registered football agents, as well as transactions involving a player, coach or club where an FA-registered agent was involved. The reported sum is a club payment total; it is not a transfer-by-transfer breakdown.
The FA cautions that payments in the totals may relate to transactions entered into before the reporting period began. It also says a club’s total payments will not necessarily correspond directly to the transactions listed for that same period. So the £1,612,833 figure should not be read as fees solely for Watford transfers announced between 4 February 2025 and 2 February 2026, or attributed to particular signings without separate evidence. The FA’s announcement of the 2025–26 reporting-period figures explains the scope and caveat.
How the latest total compares with Watford’s previous figure
For the previous published period, 2 February 2024 to 3 February 2025, the FA reported Watford’s total as £2,096,862. The latest figure is £484,029 lower, a decrease of approximately 23.1% calculated from the two published totals. Because the reporting windows differ slightly, this is a comparison between published periods rather than a precisely aligned season-on-season measure. The FA’s agent fees and transactions page provides the reports.

Championship context for the same reporting period
The FA’s table for 4 February 2025 to 2 February 2026 lists these Championship figures:
| Figure | Reported total |
|---|---|
| Watford | £1,612,833 |
| Ipswich Town | £11,738,920 |
| Championship clubs combined | £69,665,489 |
These figures show the scale of the totals in the same FA reporting period; they do not explain why one club’s amount is higher or lower, or establish how much any club spent on a specific transfer. The totals are published in the FA’s fees and transactions reports.
