No verified public source reviewed for this article states how much the Invincible cast was paid. Figures circulating online are estimates, not confirmed salaries or contract terms. SAG-AFTRA’s published animation minimums provide general industry context, but they cannot establish what any named actor negotiated.

What is known about the cast’s pay?

Specific compensation for Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, or other Invincible performers has not been substantiated in the sources reviewed. No cast contract, production disclosure, or reliable report confirming individual pay was identified. The most accurate answer is that their salaries are undisclosed—not a particular dollar amount.

Amazon identifies Yeun as Mark Grayson/Invincible, Oh as Debbie Grayson, and Simmons as Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man on its series page. Skybound’s official series page lists the core cast and production credits. Those pages establish who is in the show, not what they earned.

Are the salary figures online confirmed?

A secondary article offers per-episode salary ranges, but describes them as estimates based on industry standards and comparable animation salaries. It does not establish that the figures came from the actors, their representatives, Amazon, or the production. They should therefore be treated as speculation rather than reported pay.

A quoted per-episode estimate also cannot be treated as a season or series total without verified information about the performer’s agreement, number of paid episodes or sessions, and any other negotiated terms. Role prominence, celebrity status, and screen time are not evidence of an individual fee.

What SAG-AFTRA animation rates can—and cannot—tell you

SAG-AFTRA explains that animation television performer rates are generally structured per episode and vary with runtime. Its published guidance describes minimums, not the individual agreements for Invincible. The union states: “All rates quoted are minimums and do not limit the performer’s right to negotiate for better rates, terms, or conditions of employment.” See SAG-AFTRA’s animation rates guidance.

That distinction matters: a minimum rate is a contractual floor under the applicable agreement, not proof that a particular performer received that amount. It also cannot be converted into a cast member’s salary without knowing the relevant agreement, runtime, work performed, and negotiated terms. The guidance is useful for understanding how animation pay may be structured, but not for calculating the named cast’s compensation.

Why the show’s source material does not answer the pay question

Invincible is based on the comic by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, as noted in Ubisoft’s February 11, 2025 announcement. That connection explains the series’ source material; it does not disclose the actors’ fees or how the production budget was allocated.
