Published estimates put Daniel Craig’s pay for his five James Bond films at roughly $77 million to $95 million, depending on which conflicting figures are used and whether bonuses are counted. There is no publicly confirmed, consistent breakdown of his total compensation, so no single exact total is verified.
Reported pay for each Daniel Craig Bond film
The figures below come from secondary reporting, not disclosed contracts. They also do not all measure compensation the same way.
| Film | Reported amount | What the estimate represents |
|---|---|---|
| Casino Royale (2006) | $3.2 million | Reported estimate; no primary contract disclosure. Celebrity Net Worth and Business Insider. |
| Quantum of Solace (2008) | $7.2 million | Reported estimate; no primary contract disclosure. Celebrity Net Worth and Business Insider. |
| Skyfall (2012) | $17 million or $20 million | One report gives $17 million; another gives $20 million including bonuses. Those are not necessarily comparable compensation measures. Celebrity Net Worth and Business Insider. |
| Spectre (2015) | $25 million, $30 million, or around $39 million | Estimates conflict substantially. The $25 million figure is described as base pay; Guinness World Records reports around $39 million. Celebrity Net Worth, Business Insider, and Guinness World Records. |
| No Time to Die (2021) | $25 million | Secondary estimate described as base salary; not confirmed by Craig or the producers. Business Insider. |
Why published totals differ
Adding the reported amounts requires choosing among conflicting estimates and deciding what “paid” includes. Using $3.2 million for Casino Royale, $7.2 million for Quantum of Solace, $20 million for Skyfall, and $25 million each for Spectre and No Time to Die gives about $80.4 million. Replacing the Spectre figure with $30 million gives about $85.4 million; using Guinness World Records’ roughly $39 million estimate yields about $94.4 million.
If the $17 million Skyfall estimate is used instead of $20 million, those totals fall by $3 million: the $25 million Spectre version sums to about $77.4 million. The resulting approximate range of $77 million to $95 million reflects these reported inputs; it is not an audited or confirmed payment total. Celebrity Net Worth, Business Insider, and Guinness World Records.

What “paid” may include
A reported salary can mean guaranteed base pay, while a larger figure may include bonuses or other compensation. For example, one report describes the $20 million Skyfall estimate as including bonuses, and the reported Spectre amounts vary in how they are characterized. The sources do not provide one consistent accounting definition across all five films.
These figures should not be treated as Craig’s total earnings from every Bond-related activity. The cited reporting does not consistently separate salary, bonuses, profit participation, endorsements, or other income, so those categories cannot be reliably added to the film-by-film estimates.

Which films are included?
Craig’s five-film Bond run comprises Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time to Die. The Bond producers described the final film as the culmination of his run in a Screen interview; that interview and a contemporaneous Guardian interview provide context, but neither confirms a salary total.
