There is no evidence-backed universal price for an OnlyFans pay-per-view (PPV) post or message. Set a price based on what the fan gets, the time and production involved, how exclusive or customized it is, and what your subscription already includes. Then use your own purchase results to refine the offer rather than treating online price ranges as market averages.
What a PPV price should reflect
PPV is a separate, one-time purchase: a fan decides whether to unlock a particular item. The offer should therefore make its contents clear and give the buyer enough information to judge its value. Consider these factors together:
- Format and quantity: A photo set, short clip, longer video, and multi-item bundle are different offers. State the number of images or approximate video length when relevant.
- Time and production effort: A carefully produced or lengthy item may take more work than a short, frequently reused clip.
- Exclusivity and reuse: Custom work for one buyer is not the same as content you can sell repeatedly. Be clear if an item is exclusive or made to a buyer’s specifications.
- Page context: A paid subscription may already include access to some content, while a free page may rely more heavily on individual purchases. Make sure the extra charge fits what subscribers have been promised.
- Audience and purchase history: A new or inactive fan may have different buying intent from a repeat customer. Use actual audience behavior where available, rather than assuming every recipient will respond alike.

How to set a price and improve it
- Define the item. Decide exactly what is included: format, length or quantity, whether it is custom, and whether it is exclusive. Describe it accurately so the fan knows what the purchase covers.
- Estimate the work and value. Account for production time, quality, length, and whether the content can be sold again. A custom item may involve work for one buyer that cannot be reused as a regular release.
- Check the rest of your offer. Compare the PPV price with your subscription price and the access that subscription provides. Think of the page as one offer structure, not a collection of unrelated prices.
- Choose a test price, not a supposed market rate. One guide suggests $10–$25 for a short PPV clip and $25–$80 or more for a larger bundle. Those are Influencer Made’s suggested starting ranges, published April 26, 2026—not measured platform-wide averages or rules: OnlyFans Pricing Guide: What to Charge for Subs, PPV and Customs.
- Review the response. Track whether the intended audience buys the item and assess the result against your own goals and costs. If you test a change, adjust one variable at a time—such as price, description, content, or audience targeting—so you can better understand what may have affected the response. Unlock rate is one metric suggested by creator guides, not a universal benchmark.
How to think about example price ranges
Published ranges can help you form a first hypothesis, but the available sources do not establish a representative average OnlyFans PPV price. Bunny Agency says reliable public data for average-price claims is lacking. A figure from one creator guide should be understood as that guide’s recommendation, not as proof of what creators generally charge.

Thrilled Agency reports a $3–$200 range for paid messages in a March 30, 2026 guide. That figure is not a verified current platform limit: another recent guide says current caps are not published in the terms and should be checked in the creator dashboard. The sources do not establish that the reported range applies to every account or PPV format. See the guides from Thrilled Agency and Bunny Agency.
Calculate what you keep from a sale
Sources report that OnlyFans retains 20% of fan payments, leaving 80% for the creator before taxes and other costs. Creator Growth Lab’s 2026 guide and Bunny Agency’s September 2026 review of an archived terms version describe that split; a 2024 USENIX Security Symposium paper also reports creators earning 80% of payments. At the reported 20% fee, an illustrative $10 fan payment would leave $8 before taxes and other costs. This is arithmetic based on that reported fee, not a promise about current account terms or final take-home income.

Third-party sources conflict about the maximum price: one reports a paid-message range, while others say current caps should be confirmed in the dashboard. Do not treat an online chart as a confirmed limit. Check the price field in your creator dashboard when setting an offer near a possible cap, and rely on the limit the platform permits for your account and offer format.
