Those figures come from unnamed sources cited by TheWrap; they are reported estimates, not confirmed contract terms or money Holland is known to have already received.
What is Tom Holland reportedly being paid for Brand New Day?
TheWrap reported on August 18, 2026, that Holland’s deal for Spider-Man: Brand New Day includes at least $20 million upfront and could exceed $100 million in total compensation after bonuses. The outlet attributed the figures to three unnamed people familiar with the deal. It said Sony does not comment on cast salaries and Holland’s representatives did not respond. TheWrap’s report describes the additional compensation as an uncapped backend bonus tied to box-office performance, so the eventual total depends on the film’s results and the private deal terms.
The Guardian summarized the same estimate the following day, attributing it to TheWrap; that is coverage of the original report, not separate confirmation of Holland’s contract. The Guardian’s summary therefore does not turn the estimate into an official disclosure.
How do the reported salaries for Holland’s Spider-Man films compare?
TheWrap’s 2026 report gives these previously reported salary figures for Holland’s standalone Spider-Man films. None is an official studio disclosure, and the prospective bonus-inclusive figure for Brand New Day is not directly comparable to the earlier reported salaries.

Does Holland already have $100 million from the new film?
No available report establishes that he has received $100 million, or that he will ultimately receive that amount. The reported figure is a possible total that combines upfront pay with performance-based bonuses. Until the film’s performance and private contract terms determine any backend payment, the defensible description is that Holland could earn more than $100 million, not that he has been paid that sum.
