That is a company-level figure, not a verified total for RuneScape alone: the available accounts do not disclose how much came from RuneScape, Old School RuneScape, or RuneScape 3 individually.
What is the latest reported figure?
Jagex Limited reported turnover of £178,451,546 (£178.45 million) for the year ended 31 December 2025. Companies House lists the full accounts for that period as filed on 6 August 2026. The detailed line items are transcribed from those filed accounts by The Accounts UK, which identifies the figures as standalone, parent-company accounts. The Companies House filing history confirms the filing and reporting period.
Turnover is the company’s reported revenue measure; it does not mean that the entire amount was generated by one game. The accounts’ reported turnover was £151,427,781 in 2024 and £151,863,835 in 2023. The 2025 total was about 17.8% higher than 2024, a year-over-year change for Jagex Limited, not a measured growth rate for RuneScape.
Does that tell us how much RuneScape itself makes?
No. The available 2025 reporting does not establish what share of Jagex Limited’s turnover came from RuneScape, and it does not provide a verified revenue split between Old School RuneScape and RuneScape 3. Estimating game revenue from player counts would not solve the problem. Membership can provide access to both games, and player numbers are not a company-reported allocation of revenue. Without a published game-level breakdown or a clearly documented independent method, any precise RuneScape-only amount would be speculation.
Turnover is not profit
Jagex Limited’s 2025 accounts also report operating profit of £54,856,495 and net profit of £67,330,961. These are separate accounting measures: neither should be described as turnover or as the money RuneScape itself made. The figures come from the same transcription of the filed accounts, which states that its scope is standalone parent-company reporting.

What did Jagex say about the two games?
A discussion reproducing language from Jagex’s 2024 financial statement described Old School RuneScape subscription revenue as growing significantly, while RuneScape 3 revenue declined mainly because of lower membership numbers.
