Sky Sport reported a formula of €11,453 plus €2,313 for every point earned in the 2024 Drivers’ Championship; Max Verstappen had the highest reported charge, while four drivers were listed at the base amount. These are reported driver charges, not the separate fees teams pay to enter the championship.
How the reported 2025 driver fee was calculated
Sky Sport reported that the 2025 driver super licence charge used this formula:
€11,453 base fee + (€2,313 × points earned in the 2024 Drivers’ Championship)
In other words, the calculation used each driver’s 2024 championship points to determine a charge for the following season. The figures below are Sky Sport’s reported amounts; the FIA regulation cited here sets out constructor entry fees, not this individual-driver fee table. Sky Sport’s report

What the figures do—and do not—say about who pays
A super licence is required to compete in Formula 1, but a reported charge is not proof that a driver personally paid it. Reporting says teams usually cover the bill; the available sources do not establish who was contractually or personally responsible for each driver’s 2025 amount. Driver super licences are not team entry fees
The FIA’s 2025 Sporting Regulations set a separate entry-fee schedule for constructors in Appendix 4. For the 2025 season, the 2024 Constructors’ Championship winner’s fee was a $680,203 base plus $8,161 for each constructor point. Other competitors paid a $680,203 base plus $6,799 per point. Those are team-level entry fees in US dollars, not the individual driver charges listed above.

Keep the season and currency straight
The 2025 driver figures use 2024 championship points. They should not be mixed with reporting about 2026 renewals, which uses 2025 points and different rates; those later figures may also be presented in Brazilian reais. The figures in this article are the reported 2025 euro amounts.
