The public record does not show a full Tucker Carlson staff payroll. The clearest figure is a $145,000 offer that Abby Grossberg says she received in 2022 for a senior producer and head-of-booking role on Tucker Carlson Tonight. It is one alleged offer described in a 2023 legal complaint—not a staff-wide pay rate or proof of what Carlson personally paid employees.
What salary was reported for a Tucker Carlson Tonight staff role?
In a complaint filed on March 20, 2023, former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg alleged that senior executive producer Justin Wells offered her $145,000 in 2022 for a senior producer role that included becoming head of booking on Tucker Carlson Tonight. The figure describes an offer to one person for a specific job; the complaint does not provide a complete payroll or establish what other staff members earned. Read the complaint.
Grossberg said in the complaint that the offer was below what she considered typical compensation for a senior producer on a primetime show. She described $175,000 as a minimum and said candidates with her experience were more likely to earn $200,000. Those are her stated benchmarks in the pleading, not independently verified market statistics.
What did the complaint allege about pay comparisons?
Grossberg further alleged that Wells acknowledged the offer was below comparable male salaries on the team and promised a review after six months. This is an allegation in her filing, not a court finding or an independently established account of team compensation.

Does Fox’s company-wide pay figure tell us what the show staff earned?
No. Fox Corporation’s 2025 proxy statement reports median annual total compensation of $42,299 for employees other than its CEO for fiscal year 2024. That is a company-wide figure, not a statistic for Carlson’s show or its staff. Fox says it identified its median employee using gross cash earnings, including salary, overtime, bonus and/or commissions. The available figures establish neither an average nor a pay range for all staff members. The $145,000 amount is a single offer alleged in a legal complaint; the $175,000 and $200,000 amounts are Grossberg’s own compensation benchmarks in that complaint; and Fox’s $42,299 median covers a different, company-wide employee population. The reviewed public sources do not provide a staff-by-staff salary list or a total payroll for Tucker Carlson Tonight.
