Capology estimates Lyndon Dykes earns a gross fixed salary of £25,000 a week at Millwall in 2026/27, excluding bonuses. That is a third-party estimate, not a wage confirmed by Dykes or a club. His Birmingham and Charlton salaries have not been verified in the available sources. The Charlton transfer story is also historical: he left Birmingham for Charlton in January 2026, then joined Millwall in August.
What is Lyndon Dykes’s estimated salary?
Capology puts Dykes’s 2026/27 Millwall salary at an estimated £1.3 million gross fixed pay for the season, equivalent to £25,000 per week, before bonuses. Capology describes its salary figures as estimates, so neither amount should be treated as a confirmed contract figure. Capology’s salary profile is the clearest current estimate located.
No official wage disclosure for Dykes at Birmingham City, Charlton Athletic or Millwall was identified. In particular, the available sources do not establish what he earned at Birmingham or Charlton, or whether his Millwall contract includes bonuses and what those might be.
Why is the Charlton transfer story no longer current?
January 2026: Birmingham to Charlton
Dykes joined Charlton from Birmingham on 15 January 2026 in a permanent move, according to BBC Sport. The clubs did not disclose whether Charlton paid a fee. The BBC reported 24 Birmingham appearances for him that season at the time of the transfer; the Scottish FA profile separately records 21 appearances in the first half of 2025/26. Those are source-specific counts with different reporting windows, so they should not be combined. The Scottish FA profile provides the latter figure.

May 2026: Charlton discusses an extension
On 8 May, BBC Sport reported Charlton had opened talks with the 30-year-old striker about extending his deal. He had scored three goals in 20 Championship appearances for the club, according to that report. The May report describes discussions at that time, not a completed extension.
August 2026: Millwall signing
Millwall signed Dykes on a one-year contract on 6 August 2026, after his Charlton deal ended, BBC Sport reported. The signing report makes Millwall his current club in the context of this article, dated 8 October 2026. Charlton’s earlier extension talks should therefore not be described as current transfer interest.

How reliable are football salary estimates?
Salary databases are not a substitute for a disclosed contract or payroll record. Salary Sport lists £20,000 a week against Dykes’s Charlton 2026 contract year, but its page also contains contradictory club and contract information, including a Millwall label alongside the Charlton entry. That makes it a weak, conflicting estimate rather than reliable confirmation of his Charlton pay. Salary Sport’s page should not be used to establish a definitive wage.
For a reader comparing the available figures, the key distinction is that Capology clearly labels its £25,000 weekly Millwall number as an estimate of fixed gross salary, excluding bonuses. The sources do not provide a verified, like-for-like Birmingham or Charlton salary to compare against it.
