Who was the reported $3,500 payment for?
The $3,500 figure concerns Layla Sanad and her son with Future, Kash. TMZ and the Miami Herald reported that Future described the payments in Arizona filings as voluntary. TMZ’s report, updated April 18, 2026, and the Miami Herald’s coverage both identify Sanad as the recipient.
That distinction matters because the headline question can be mistaken for a payment to Ciara, Future’s former partner. The reports attach the $3,500 figure to Sanad and Kash, not Ciara.
Was $3,500 a final court-ordered amount?
That is not established by the reports. They describe the amount as a voluntary payment Future said he made; they do not publish a final order setting $3,500 as the support obligation. What can be said about the resolution?
TMZ quoted Sanad as saying, “This matter has since been resolved, and we are in a positive place, focused on co-parenting and what is best for our son. We respectfully ask that the media report responsibly and refrain from spreading misinformation.” The Miami Herald also reported a statement from her representative that the matter was resolved. Neither account gives the settlement or any later order’s terms, so the reported $3,500 should not be presented as the confirmed final amount.
