What changed in 2026?
TechNode reported that the suggested prices rose from the previous levels by different amounts:
| Model | Previous reported price | Reported price from April 2, 2026 | Reported increase |

These earlier figures are the prior levels cited in the 2026 report. They should not be confused with Sony’s older official China notice: on August 25, 2022, Sony announced recommended prices of RMB 4,299 for the disc model and RMB 3,499 for the digital model. That notice is historical, not a current price list: Sony’s August 25, 2022 China price announcement.
