A Gulfstream G700’s annual operating budget is estimated at about $2.17 million to $3.64 million in published models, depending on flight hours and cost assumptions. Buying it is a separate calculation: a July 2026 market summary lists a $73.382 million–$82 million Vref value range, but that is not a current factory price or a quote for a specific aircraft.
What does it cost to buy a Gulfstream G700?
A current new-aircraft list price or factory-delivered transaction price is not established by the available published figures. Duncan Aviation’s market summary, current as of July 2026, lists a G700 Vref value range of $73.382 million to $82 million. That is a market-value reference, not proof of what Gulfstream is charging for a new aircraft or what a particular configuration would cost. The summary’s underlying value data is credited to Vref. A buyer’s actual acquisition cost would depend on the aircraft and deal terms. The published range does not specify a particular aircraft’s configuration or establish a factory quote. For a precise purchase figure, use a dated quote or documented transaction that identifies the aircraft and its terms.
How much does it cost to operate a G700 each year?
Published estimates vary because the models use different utilization, fuel, and cost-category assumptions. They should be treated as modeled budgets, not as interchangeable quotes or a guaranteed bill.

| Model and annual utilization | Annual fixed costs | Annual variable or direct costs | Total annual estimate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Liberty Jet, 200 flight hours | $988,000 | $1,185,572 direct operating costs | $2,173,572 |
| Guardian Jet, 300 flight hours | $1,189,021 | $2,455,458 variable costs | $3,644,479 |
| Liberty Jet, 400 flight hours | $988,000 | $2,371,144 direct operating costs | $3,359,144 |
Liberty Jet’s examples use fuel at $7.23 per gallon and list fuel, maintenance, engine overhaul, crew, hangar, insurance, and other items. The 200-hour illustration includes $552,372 for fuel, $27,200 for maintenance, and $496,000 for engine overhaul. At 400 hours, it estimates $1,104,744 for fuel, $54,400 for maintenance, and $992,000 for engine overhaul. Its crew, hangar, insurance, and other fixed costs stay the same between those two examples. Liberty Jet explicitly excludes purchase price, depreciation, and cost of capital. Liberty Jet G700 Operating Costs
Guardian Jet’s 300-hour model uses 509 gallons per hour at $7.54 per gallon. It lists maintenance at $2,223 per hour and an engine program at $2,124 per hour. Its categories and assumptions differ from Liberty Jet’s, so the totals should not be read as a like-for-like comparison. Guardian Jet G700 operating-cost model

Why the estimates do not rise neatly with flight hours
Liberty Jet’s 200-hour model totals less than its 400-hour model, as expected when more flying adds variable costs. But Guardian Jet’s 300-hour estimate is higher than Liberty Jet’s 400-hour estimate. That does not show that flying 300 hours costs more than flying 400; it shows that the models differ in inputs and accounting treatment.
Before comparing estimates, align the assumptions that drive the totals:

- Annual utilization: Match the number of flight hours.
- Fuel: Compare both fuel price and gallons burned per hour, and confirm whether fuel is included.
- Maintenance: Check what routine maintenance covers and whether major inspections are included.
- Engines: Distinguish an engine-overhaul reserve from an engine program; they are not necessarily the same cost treatment.
- Fixed and trip-related costs: Check crew, hangar, insurance, management, landing, and handling costs.
- Ownership costs: Confirm whether the estimate includes depreciation, financing, or cost of capital.
A separate July 2026 Duncan Aviation summary lists a G700 total variable cost of $8,960 per hour and average fuel burn of 493 gallons per hour. The summary attributes the cost and fuel data to Conklin de Decker Associates; its notes price fuel at $5.69 per gallon and describe maintenance as routine, excluding major inspections. Those assumptions differ from both operating-budget examples above, so the hourly figure is another reference point—not a direct reconciliation of their annual totals. Duncan Aviation Market Summary

Gulfstream lists theoretical NBAA IFR range of 7,750 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 6,650 nautical miles at Mach 0.90, based on eight passengers, four crew, and NBAA IFR reserves. These are not guaranteed trip distances. Gulfstream says actual range is affected by ATC routing, operating speed, weather, outfitting options, and other factors. Gulfstream G700 specifications
