Why do some reports give a different top price?
PerthNow reported a top amount of $48,133 and a range of $28,879–$48,133 for the toys. Those figures differ from Hypebeast’s USD amounts, and the reporting available here does not establish whether the discrepancy reflects currency conversion, sale-price basis, or another factor. What the sale does—and does not—say about Labubu prices
The reported total and top lot are results from a specific charity-linked auction of exclusive, individually styled figures. They do not establish the usual retail or resale value of Labubu collectibles, nor do they show that an ordinary figure is likely to appreciate. Anyone comparing prices should distinguish these unique auction pieces from standard retail products and check the currency and sale basis used by each report.
