Her example is an informal give-and-take over time—not a documented rule to divide every bill equally. The report does not establish a wealth gap among the sisters, so it cannot show that differences in their wealth explain the arrangement.
How do the Kardashian sisters split bills?
In a January 7, 2026 report, E! News quoted Khloé describing the family’s approach: “Me and my sisters do not Venmo each other, but we always take turns,” Khloe, 41, explained.

She also said, “I would never go with one of my sisters and expect for them to always pay.” Taken together, the comments describe reciprocal spending: one sister covers an expense, and another may pay on a later occasion. They do not describe a formal equal split of each purchase.
What happened when Kim needed school shirts?
Khloé’s example involved a school shop that accepted cash. Kim did not have cash for shirts the children needed for school Spirit Fridays, so Khloé paid. Kim offered to repay her through a business manager, but Khloé declined. E! reported that Kim later offered to buy Khloé something in return.

The anecdote illustrates how the arrangement can work in practice: the person able to pay handles the immediate expense, while repayment is not necessarily a cash transfer or tied to that exact transaction.

E! also reported that Khloé had said in a December podcast episode that the family shared the cost of accessories for its annual Christmas party. The report does not give the total cost or each person’s contribution, so it does not establish how the expense was divided.

What the reported arrangement does—and does not—tell us
- It is an account of family practice. Khloé’s comments describe how she says she and her sisters handle some shared spending; they are not evidence that the same approach suits every household.
- It is not a per-bill formula. The examples point to taking turns and returning favors over time, not to equal shares or a fixed reimbursement schedule.
- It does not establish a wealth comparison. The report provides no figures for the sisters’ relative wealth, any wealth gap, the shirt prices, or their Christmas-party contributions. It therefore does not support the claim that a wealth gap explains their cost-sharing practice.
