Portsmouth’s published 2024/25 schedule listed adult seats in the North and South Stand centre at £30 in advance or £32 on matchday. Online purchase carried no booking fee; phone or in-person purchase added a £3 fee per booking. The schedule does not establish Portsmouth’s current 2026/27 single-match prices. Why the figures are not a current like-for-like comparison
The Southampton figure is for one home fixture in October 2026; Portsmouth’s lowest figure is from its 2024/25 home-ticket schedule. A valid current comparison would need both clubs’ prices for the same season and ticket type. Until Portsmouth’s 2026/27 home prices are confirmed, it would be misleading to say Portsmouth is currently cheaper based on the older £28 rate.
#1 Best Overall
- Inspired by the world's largest soccer matchup, the adidas FIFA World Cup 26 soccer ball pairs design with performance. A seamless TSBE surface enhances touch. The butyl bladder ensures consistent shape retention for every match or practice session.
- TSBE TECHNOLOGY: Seamless surface for better touch and lower water uptake
- KEEPS ITS SHAPE: Butyl bladder for best air retention
- REQUIRES INFLATION: Ships flat, pump not included
- FIFA QUALITY AND OFFICIALLY LICENSED: Officially licensed by FIFA, the ball passed FIFA tests on circumference, weight, rebound and water absorption
- Adult versus child or concession: The figures above compare the lowest listed standard adult home ticket, not a child or concession fare.
- Advance versus matchday: Portsmouth’s historical schedule gave separate advance and matchday prices; Southampton’s page displayed seat-category prices for a specific fixture.
- Fees: Portsmouth’s 2024/25 schedule specified no booking fee online and a £3 fee per booking by phone or in person. That fee detail is also historical.
- Home versus away: An away allocation at the other club’s stadium is a separate product and should not be substituted for a club’s home tariff.
