Lisa Vanderpump’s reported $90 million net worth is an estimate attributed by the South China Morning Post to Celebrity Net Worth—not a disclosed or audited personal balance sheet. Her documented wealth-building story spans decades of hospitality businesses with her husband and business partner Ken Todd, reported brand sales, television and production, and consumer and design ventures. The available sources explain those career strands, but do not establish how much each earned or what share belongs to Vanderpump individually.
Is Lisa Vanderpump’s net worth really $90 million?
The figure is best treated as a reported estimate, not a verified valuation. The South China Morning Post attributed the $90 million figure to Celebrity Net Worth in 2023. The sources available here do not explain Celebrity Net Worth’s methodology or provide an independent calculation to confirm it.
That distinction matters because a net-worth estimate should not be confused with a business’s revenue, the value of a restaurant, or the combined assets of a couple. The sources do not disclose how Vanderpump and Todd divide ownership, what their businesses are worth, or how much they personally retained from past sales.
Hospitality businesses came before her US reality-TV fame
Vanderpump and Todd built a hospitality career together over decades, including a substantial London portfolio. In a 2023 Vanity Fair interview, Vanderpump recalled that they had “a 30-something restaurants in London.” She said the business was once considerably larger than their current one and described a cycle of building brands, selling them, and starting again.

As she put it: “We sold to public companies a couple of times. We’d built up a brand and sold it out, retired, then built up another brand.” That first-person account supports a history of business-building and brand sales. It does not specify the sale prices, proceeds retained, or Vanderpump’s individual share.
Bravo’s business overview describes more than 30 restaurants and bars owned by the couple over more than 30 years in the United States and England. Its list includes venues from different points in time, so it should not be read as a count of locations all operating today.
US restaurants and bars extended the hospitality business
In the United States, SUR became the setting for Vanderpump Rules, while TomTom was opened with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz as junior partners. Vanderpump and Todd also developed Las Vegas venues in partnership with Caesars Entertainment. These businesses increased the visibility of the Vanderpump hospitality brand, but a venue’s profile does not establish that Vanderpump owns all of it or reveal its profitability.
The venue counts in Caesars’ announcements are date-specific company claims, not independent valuations:

| Announcement | What Caesars reported | What the figure establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Wolf by Vanderpump opening, 2024 | The couple’s 37th restaurant and bar | Caesars’ count at the time of that release; not Vanderpump’s individual ownership share or the value of the business. |
| Vanderpump Hotel announcement, 2025 | The couple’s 39th restaurant and bar; a Vanderpump Hotel project was announced | Caesars’ count and project announcement at that time; not a present-day operating count or a disclosed valuation. |
Neither announcement discloses Vanderpump’s equity percentage, restaurant earnings, debt, or the terms of the Caesars partnerships. Counting locations therefore cannot produce a reliable estimate of her personal fortune.
Television and production broadened her platform
Vanderpump appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and became the central figure in the restaurant-staff series Vanderpump Rules. Bravo and her official biography identify her as an executive producer of Vanderpump Rules.
Rank #4
In a February 2023 Forbes interview, she said reality television opened opportunities: “So, that opened so many doors for things I dreamt of.” She also described producing the show as a substantial commitment. The programs plausibly helped extend the reach of her hospitality and personal brands, but the sources do not disclose her cast salary, producer compensation, licensing income, or ownership interest in the shows.
Consumer and design ventures diversified the brand
Vanderpump’s business activity also extends beyond restaurants and television. Bravo documents Vanderpump-branded wine and vodka, while Hachette Book Group’s biography lists the design company Vanderpump Alain, a flower line with Kroger, and Vanderpump Pets accessories. Caesars’ hospitality materials describe Vanderpump Alain lighting and furnishings in its projects.

These ventures show brand extensions into products and design, but the sources do not report sales, margins, royalties, or how much any of them contributes to the $90 million estimate.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What real estate transactions are documented?
In the 2023 Vanity Fair interview, Vanderpump said, “We’ve sold many houses.” She did not identify the properties, dates, purchase or sale prices, gains, or current holdings. The comment establishes that she and Todd have sold houses; it does not support a specific real-estate valuation as part of her net worth.
What can—and can’t—be concluded about how she made her money?
| Wealth-building strand | What the sources support | What remains undisclosed |
|---|---|---|
| Hospitality and brand sales | A long career with Todd, a London portfolio Vanderpump recalls as more than 30 restaurants, and multiple sales of brands to public companies. | Sale prices, retained proceeds, profits, and her individual share. |
| US venues and partnerships | Restaurants and bars including SUR, TomTom, and Las Vegas projects with Caesars; company-reported venue counts at specific dates. | Individual equity stakes, earnings, debt, and partnership economics. |
| Television and production | Prominent reality-TV roles and an executive-producer credit for Vanderpump Rules. | Cast and producer compensation, licensing income, and show ownership. |
| Consumer and design ventures | Wine, vodka, design, flowers, and pet-accessory brands are documented. | Sales, margins, royalties, and contribution to personal net worth. |
| Real estate | Vanderpump said she and Todd had sold many houses. | Property identities, transaction values, gains, and current holdings. |
The evidence supports a broad explanation: Vanderpump and Todd built hospitality businesses over many years, sold brands, expanded into US venues, and extended the brand through television, products, and design. It does not support a precise calculation of her individual wealth or a breakdown that verifies the reported $90 million.
