Yes. Hitachi Construction Machinery stated that the October acquisition completed the share repurchase authorized by a written resolution in lieu of a Board of Directors resolution dated August 18, 2026. The authorized period ran from August 19 through November 30, but the company reported completion with the October 1–8 acquisition.

The authorization permitted purchases of up to 6,420,000 shares and an aggregate price of up to ¥34,000,000,000 through Tokyo Stock Exchange market purchases under a discretionary transaction contract. Those were maximums for the authorization, not the amount bought in October.
