Lotterywest reported a million-dollar Millionaire Medley win from NewsXpress Whitford City, followed within three days by two Western Australian Division One tickets in Saturday Lotto: one sold at Good Luck Lottery Centre in Hillarys and one purchased through Lotterywest Play Online.
Which Hillarys shops sold the winning tickets?
Lotterywest’s 3 February 2025 release named two Hillarys retailers, each connected to a different game:
- NewsXpress Whitford City: the Millionaire Medley game that became a million-dollar prize.
- Good Luck Lottery Centre: a Saturday Lotto Division One ticket.
The other Western Australian Division One ticket in that Saturday draw was bought through Lotterywest Play Online, rather than at a Hillarys shop. Lotterywest’s dated release is the primary source for the locations and prize details.
How the three-day sequence worked
The earlier win was in Millionaire Medley. Within three days, Saturday Lotto produced a separate set of Division One results. Lotterywest reported 13 Division One tickets nationally in that Saturday draw, each worth more than $367,000. Two of those tickets were in Western Australia: the Good Luck Lottery Centre ticket and the online Lotterywest ticket.

PerthNow reported the same event on 4 February 2025 and described the Saturday prize as more than $350,000 per winner; Lotterywest’s more precise wording was “more than $367,000.” PerthNow’s report is a contemporaneous account, while the Lotterywest release provides the exact figure used here.
What Lotterywest said at the time
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said: “It’s been a busy start to the year for our Winner’s Room at Lotterywest HQ,” he said. The release also noted that the Hillarys winners had not come forward by the time it was published. The available reports do not establish whether the prizes were claimed later or identify the winners.

No conclusion about better odds follows from this cluster of reported results. The releases identify where the winning tickets were sold or purchased, but do not compare the odds for Hillarys retailers with other locations or show that a particular shop improves a player’s chance of winning. Two nearby wins are notable as a local news event, not evidence of a reliable pattern.

- Let's face it you don't want to give someone a winning scratch off ticket that shows they won a million dollars on it, you would probably lose friends and family if you did that. We heard your complaints and made our winning amounts 10k and 50k. That allows you to choose between the good, the bad, but not the ugly.
- Includes a total of 8 tickets. You will get 4 of the "Big Time Millions" design, and 4 of the "Jackpot Jubilee" design. The "Big time Millions" is a guaranteed $50,000 winner, the "Jackpot Jubilee" is a guaranteed $10,000 winner. In addition to those winning amounts, each ticket also wins an additional $30 for the top game.
- Each ticket measures 8 x 4 inches and includes 2 separate games per ticket. The back is very realistic but also has plenty of info telling them it's fake after they read the fine print, it's hidden enough to fool just about anyone. We didn't just phone in the back text either, the back alone is a crack up.
- Printed using HRP Technology (Hyper Realistic Printing). Some other tickets look ok on the front but once you see the back you can see how fake they look. Compare the front and especially the back of ours to anybody else's, you can see we went that extra mile on our design for both sides. Includes barcodes and scan codes just like the real thing. For the final touch we also added perforation on the top and bottom for that real lottery ticket feel
- Makes a great gift idea. Great for parties, social gathering, work / office parties, holidays, birthdays and any other special occasion. Also great for when you are just hanging out with friends.
