HERSHEY’S Team USA Chocolate Medals were limited-edition milk chocolate candies shaped like Olympic-style medals and wrapped in gold foil. Hershey announced them for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, but the company’s FAQ now says the medals sold out shortly after launch, were a one-time edition and are not planned for restock.
What were Hershey’s Team USA Chocolate Medals?
Each candy was HERSHEY’S milk chocolate molded into a medal shape, with Hershey’s and Team USA designs embossed on it and gold foil around it. Hershey described the release as a keepsake tied to its “Hershey’s. It’s Your Happy Place” campaign for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The company framed the medal as a way to celebrate everyday happiness alongside Team USA’s accomplishments.
Bailey Fink’s February 6, 2026, Allrecipes article republished by AOL reported an early tasting. Fink described the chocolate as familiar Hershey’s milk chocolate, with the medal shape and wearable novelty adding to the appeal for watching Team USA. That is her account, not an independent taste test here.
When and where did they go on sale?
Hershey announced the product on February 10, 2026. The company said the medals would be sold online through TikTok Shop starting February 13 and The Hershey’s Store starting February 14 at 8 a.m. ET, while supplies lasted. The announcement listed a price of $5.99 per medal. These were the original launch terms, not a current price or evidence of current availability.

The release also included a very limited Paralympic medal drop scheduled for TikTok Shop on March 6, 2026. That date has passed.
Can you still buy one?
Hersheyland’s official Olympics FAQ says the medals sold out shortly after launch. It describes them as a one-time limited edition and says there are no plans for additional medal releases or restocks. The FAQ also says they were not available at Hershey’s Chocolate World locations.
