Heather and Terry Dubrow sold their Beverly Hills estate at 1501 Tower Grove Drive for $16.5 million in August 2025. The sale came after the asking price fell from $25 million to $19.995 million, and the couple later said renovation costs contributed to a $5.8 million loss. That loss is their reported accounting, not an independently audited figure.
Sale price and date
Homes.com’s property history lists the sale date as August 11, 2025, while Bravo reported the transaction on August 12 and said TMZ had reported the sale the previous day. Both sources put the sale price at $16.5 million. Bravo’s report and the Homes.com property history identify the property as 1501 Tower Grove Drive.
How the price changed
The Dubrows bought the home in 2023. Homes.com lists the purchase price as $16.1 million; Bravo described it as $16 million. In March 2025, the estate was listed for $25 million, then reduced to $19.995 million in May before closing at $16.5 million in August.
| Transaction or listing | Price | Source and context |
|---|---|---|
| 2023 purchase | $16.1 million | Homes.com property history; Bravo separately rounded the price to $16 million. |
| Initial 2025 asking price | $25 million | Homes.com property history; listed in March 2025. |
| Reduced 2025 asking price | $19.995 million | Homes.com property history; reduced in May 2025. |
| August 2025 sale | $16.5 million | Bravo and Homes.com. |
By simple subtraction from those reported asking prices, the final sale was $8.5 million below the initial ask and $3.495 million below the reduced ask. Those comparisons are against listing prices, not estimates of the couple’s net proceeds or total financial result.

What the estate included
Homes.com reports 8,997 square feet, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. TMZ rounded the size to 9,000 square feet and described ocean views, a full-size tennis court, a pool and a large terrace in its sale report. These are reported property details, not findings from an independent inspection.
Why the Dubrows said they sold
In Season 19 coverage of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Heather discussed renovation spending, the discovery of asbestos, and the home no longer matching the family’s needs as factors in the decision. The couple had made visible improvements, including fresh paint and new floors, but described a much larger renovation plan that they did not complete. The asbestos detail is their reported explanation, not an independently confirmed inspection finding. Bravo covered the sale and their explanation.

What they said about the loss
In a later Bravo report, Terry said, “We lost $5.8 [million]. I’ll tell you why,” while Heather said they needed a sale price of about $19.5 million to $20 million to break even after renovation costs. They also described the project as “a gigantic fail.” These are the couple’s reported figures and characterizations, not audited totals or independent calculations. The $5.8 million figure should not be inferred simply by subtracting the purchase price from the sale price: their explanation includes renovation costs. Bravo reported their account.
Heather’s takeaway was: “You really have to vet your builders. It is imperative to go with people that you’ve worked with before.” The advice reflects the couple’s experience with this renovation; it does not establish that their circumstances or costs apply to other homeowners.

Who bought the home and who represented the sale
TMZ reported that the buyer was an unnamed non-celebrity from outside the country. The buyer’s identity is not established by the reports cited here. Bravo identifies Josh Flagg and Josh Altman as the agents who helped sell the estate; Homes.com lists Altman as the selling agent and Flagg as co-listed.
