It covered Hindustan Copper Limited’s 2025 recruitment at Khetri Copper Complex under Advertisement No. HCL/KCC/HR/Rectt/24. Scroll.in reported a 25 February 2025 deadline, while HCL’s Careers listing gives that notice a closing date of 31 December 2025. Both dates have passed. For any new openings, use HCL’s official Careers page, not an old application link.
Is the HCL Workmen application still open?
No. HCL’s official Careers listing shows the 2025 notice, HCL/KCC/HR/Rectt/24, as open from 27 January 2025 through 31 December 2025. The official follow-up document listing candidates shortlisted for document verification also shows that the recruitment process progressed beyond applications. The 2025 application window has ended.
There is a date discrepancy worth noting: Scroll.in’s article, published on 25 February 2025, said applications were due that day. HCL’s Careers listing for the same notice gives the later closing date of 31 December 2025. The official listing is the appropriate reference for the notice’s listed closing date; neither date makes this an open opportunity now.
What the “closes soon” article covered
The headline refers to Hindustan Copper Limited’s Workmen recruitment at Khetri Copper Complex, under Advertisement No. HCL/KCC/HR/Rectt/24. Scroll.in reported 103 posts. It also reported a maximum age of 40 as of 1 January 2025 and a ₹500 application processing fee for General, OBC and EWS candidates, with other candidates exempt. Those are details reported in the 2025 article, not current vacancy terms; the indexed official listing does not independently establish every post-specific eligibility requirement.

How the 2025 and 2026 notices differ
HCL’s Careers page lists a separate, later Workmen recruitment. Its notice number and dates distinguish it from the campaign in the old headline:

The 2026 notice is a distinct campaign, not an extension of the 2025 application period. The dates and eligibility terms for one notice should not be applied to the other.
