Happy Beauty Co. is the retailer reported to be opening at Oak Park Mall. The Kansas City Star report, republished by AOL, identifies it as a Sally Beauty Holdings Inc. business and says this will be the first Happy Beauty Co. location in the Kansas City metro. That does not mean it is Sally Beauty’s first area store: the report counted 12 Sally Beauty shops around the metro, without defining the area covered by that count.
Where will the store be, and when will it open?
The planned location is on Oak Park Mall’s lower level near Dillard’s. As of the report’s publication on October 5, 2026, a firm opening date had not been announced. No date should be assumed from the brand’s online presence; its website does not establish when the mall location will open.
What will Happy Beauty Co. sell?
The local report describes makeup, nail art supplies and Korean skin care, and names L.A. Girl, Technic, SOO’AE and The Crème Shop among its brands. Makeup prices reportedly start at $3.49; the report does not provide an itemized price list or confirm which products will be in stock at this location.

How does this fit Oak Park Mall’s recent openings?
The report also notes another recent mall opening, Miss A, which it describes as selling makeup, trendy jewelry and accessories. It does not provide enough information to compare the two stores’ prices, quality or full product ranges.

This is the Sally Beauty-owned Happy Beauty Co. chain, not the locally owned Happy Beauty store in Gladstone. The distinction matters when looking up store information or confirming the new location’s opening date.
