That does not mean its operating performance improved across the board: separate coverage reported lower year-over-year consolidated revenue and operating profit.
What “profitable” means in this Q2 report
The word refers to net income. A 2026 results summary attributed to S&P Capital IQ and carried by MarketScreener lists Q2 net income of KRW 2,566 million, or KRW 2.566 billion. The same summary gives a net loss of KRW 62,722 million, or KRW 62.722 billion, for Q2 2025.

Revenue and operating profit were weaker year over year
Contemporary coverage by The Asia Business Daily reported Q2 2026 consolidated revenue of KRW 2.7799 trillion and operating profit of KRW 91.4 billion. It said revenue declined 13.0% and operating profit declined 43.6% from Q2 2025. The figures show why a positive net-income result should not be read as evidence that revenue or operating profit increased.
Why the two sales figures should not be combined
The S&P Capital IQ summary lists sales of KRW 372,830 million, while The Asia Business Daily reports consolidated revenue of KRW 2.7799 trillion. The available sources do not explain the difference in scale or reconcile the figures’ accounting presentation and scope. They should therefore be treated as separately attributed entries, not as equivalent measures or as a corrected version of one another.

The cited net-income figures come from an S&P Capital IQ summary carried by MarketScreener, and the revenue and operating-profit figures come from The Asia Business Daily. The company’s official English earnings-release landing page and English investor-relations presentation listing checked for this report did not expose Q2 2026 figures. The listed presentations included 1Q26 and 2Q25 materials, not a Q2 2026 presentation. A Korean quarterly filing dated May 14, 2026 is for Q1, not Q2, so it does not verify these Q2 results.
