Google’s 2025 Black Friday sale began early on Thursday, November 20, 2025, with advertised discounts on Pixel phones, Pixel Watch, and Pixel Buds. The event is over as of August 18, 2026, so these figures are historical—not live prices.
The biggest headline was “up to $800 off” a Pixel 10 Pro or Pro XL through Google Fi. That maximum combined an immediate discount with monthly bill credits and required qualifying service. The simpler Google Store offers were instant price reductions, while trade-in values depended on inspection.
What Google advertised for Black Friday 2025
The official Google Store announcement listed the following U.S.-market savings. Exact model, storage, connectivity, inventory, and offer terms could affect the final price.

When did the sale start?
The event opened on Thursday, November 20, 2025—earlier than the traditional Friday after Thanksgiving. The exact date matters because “starts Thursday” is now an outdated headline. It does not establish that every listed product remained discounted for the same length of time.
Instant discounts, trade-ins and carrier credits are different
Instant Google Store discounts
The advertised reduction on products such as the Pixel 10 or Pixel Buds was the clearest form of saving: the listed price was reduced at checkout, subject to the promotion’s terms and availability.
Trade-in value
Up to $680 back on an eligible Pixel 10 Pro or Pro XL trade-in was a maximum, not a guaranteed amount. Google had to receive and inspect the old device. Model, condition, screen damage, missing parts, account locks, and differences from the submitted description could change the credit.

A useful calculation is:
Effective cost = sale price − verified trade-in value.

Do not subtract a maximum estimate until Google confirms the device’s value. Photograph the phone, back up data, remove accounts, factory-reset it, and keep shipping evidence.
Google Fi bill credits
Google Fi advertised up to $800 off a Pixel 10 Pro or Pro XL. This was not necessarily an $800 reduction at checkout. The promotion used an immediate discount plus monthly bill credits, and required joining or maintaining an eligible Fi plan. Which deal was best?
There was no universal winner; the right choice depended on how the buyer planned to pay and use the product.
For the simplest phone saving
The Pixel 10’s advertised $200 reduction was the easiest headline discount to understand because it did not require a carrier switch or trade-in.
For a premium Pixel
The Pixel 10 Pro or Pro XL offered up to $300 off before any trade-in. A buyer who already owned an eligible device could potentially lower the effective cost further, but only after inspection.

For the largest nominal saving
Google Fi’s up-to-$800 promotion had the largest headline value. It made sense mainly for someone willing to use Fi long enough to receive the credits and who had compared the plan’s total cost with an unlocked purchase.
For a lower-cost Pixel
The Pixel 9a’s $100 discount targeted budget shoppers. Compare its final price and required features with newer Pixel models rather than judging value from the discount alone.
For accessories
Pixel Buds 2a offered the lower purchase price, while Pixel Buds Pro 2 had the larger advertised dollar reduction. Earbuds generally avoided the multi-month service commitment attached to Fi credits.

Unlocked Google Store purchase or Google Fi?

Taxes, plan charges, and financing costs are separate from headline savings. Promotions also should not be assumed to stack with every coupon, referral code, financing offer, or other promotion unless the terms say so.
Restrictions that mattered
- Inventory, colors, storage capacities, and delivery dates could change while an offer was available.
- Google Store promotions could be limited by country, shipping address, age, account, payment method, or other eligibility rules.
- “Up to” amounts represented maximums, not what every customer would receive.
- Trade-in estimates were provisional until the submitted device was evaluated.
- Fi credits depended on maintaining qualifying service; taxes and plan charges were not part of the advertised saving.
Should shoppers have waited?
Before the event, waiting was reasonable for anyone who did not need a device immediately and wanted broader Pixel, Watch, Buds, or Nest promotions. Buying earlier could be sensible when a launch offer or trade-in value was already unusually strong, inventory was tightening, or the device was needed before the sale.
For the 2025 event specifically, that decision is historical. The promotion ended, and current pages show separate 2026 offers. Check Google’s current offers page rather than treating the November 2025 prices as available now.
How to evaluate a similar Google promotion
- Confirm the country, exact model, storage, and connectivity version.
- Separate the checkout discount from trade-in value and any carrier credits.
- Read the service term, activation requirement, and conditions that can stop monthly credits.
- Calculate taxes, plan charges, financing, and the value of any device you must surrender.
- Check inventory, delivery timing, return terms, and the promotion’s end date before ordering.
