The unlocked, new 256GB Google Pixel 10 Pro has been listed for $849 before tax, down $250 from its $1,099 list price. That is an all-time-low or tied-low price for this specific configuration in the cited price history—not for every Pixel 10 Pro: the 128GB model has been reported at $749, and open-box units have cost less. The $849 promotion is not confirmed as live today, October 3, 2026, so check the retailer’s checkout price and stock before buying.

Best Buy’s 256GB Obsidian product page displayed the price with a “Black Friday in July Deal” label. That describes a July promotion, not a November Black Friday sale. Deal reports also described $849 as a return to the model’s Black Friday-level pricing. The price appeared in promotions at Best Buy and Amazon, but past listings do not guarantee current stock or price (9to5Google; 9to5Toys).

Is $849 really an all-time low?
The careful answer is configuration-specific: $849 is supported as an all-time-low or tied-low price for the new, unlocked 256GB Pixel 10 Pro in the cited price history. It is not the lowest price ever for the Pixel 10 Pro family. The 128GB version has been reported at $749, while lower open-box prices are for a different condition and should not be compared as if they were new retail units (Notebookcheck).
Best Buy lists the 128GB model separately. If that version is $749 when you shop, the extra $100 for 256GB buys twice the storage; it is worthwhile if you keep large photo libraries, videos, or games on the phone, but less compelling if you rely on cloud storage. Community reports of lower effective prices after stacking promotions are not a dependable advertised cash price.

What you get for the money
The Pixel 10 Pro is the smaller Pro model, with a 6.3-inch Super Actua display, Google Tensor G5 processor, and 16GB of RAM. Its rear camera system combines a 50MP wide camera, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP 5x telephoto camera; Google also lists zoom up to 100x, which is processed zoom rather than 100x optical magnification. It supports Qi2-certified Pixelsnap wireless charging. Check the box contents and charging requirements if you need a charger or accessories for your setup.
Google promises seven years of operating-system, security, and Pixel Drop updates, counted from the phone’s initial availability—not from the date you buy it. The Pro storage lineup includes 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Specifications and update terms are on Google’s Pixel 10 Pro page and Google’s Pixel hardware specifications page.

Should you buy it or wait?
Buy the 256GB model at $849 if
- You want a new, unlocked phone and the price is still available at checkout.
- You value a compact flagship, Pixel software and photography features, and more than 128GB of local storage.
- You are comfortable buying a previous-generation phone as newer Pixel hardware reaches the market.
Choose 128GB at $749 if
- The lower price matters more than extra local storage.
- You use cloud storage and do not regularly keep large videos, games, or other files on your phone.
Wait for a newer model or further clearance if
- You prioritize the newest processor, the longest remaining support window, or resale value.
- You want the larger screen and battery of the Pixel 10 Pro XL, or want to compare current-generation hardware before committing.
- The $849 offer has ended, is out of stock, or is available only from a third-party seller.
Pixel 10 discounts were reported in the context of inventory clearance ahead of the Pixel 11 generation. By August 2026, coverage said Pixel 11 was available to preorder; further Pixel 10 price reductions are possible, but not guaranteed (Android Central; Tom’s Guide).

- Confirm the product is the Pixel 10 Pro, not the Pixel 10, Pro XL, or Pro Fold.
- Confirm it has 256GB storage if you expect the $849 price, and that the listing says unlocked.
- Check that condition is new—not open-box or refurbished—and verify the seller, particularly on Amazon.
- Select your preferred color, then review the final pre-tax checkout price, delivery date, and local stock.
- Read the return window, restocking conditions, and warranty terms.
- Make sure the offer does not depend on a carrier switch, trade-in, financing plan, account-specific coupon, or paid subscription activation. Treat trial subscriptions as extras, not cash savings; eligibility and renewal terms can vary.
A Google Store purchase may be preferable if its direct support, trade-in, financing, or eligible bundle improves your actual checkout value. Compare the total with retailer offers: trade-in credits and trial subscriptions are not equivalent to an unconditional $250 price cut (Google Store offers).

Best Buy open-box inventory may cost less, including examples reported in the $700 range or below, but condition, packaging, included accessories, and warranty or return treatment can differ. Inspect the screen, frame, cameras, charging port, and device operation promptly if you choose that route. A lower open-box price does not change the historical low for a new phone.
