What did Onward’s customer-service software do?

Is this the same Onward that appears in newer search results?
No connection is established between Google’s 2018 acquisition target and newer businesses using the Onward name. A separate company listed by Y Combinator is described as a meeting-automation startup founded in 2021 and marked inactive. Another business at useonward.com markets a post-purchase commerce platform for areas such as order changes, returns, claims, and shipping protection. Their names alone do not show that either is the company Google acquired.
