Freight software startup GoodShip announced a $25 million Series B on Aug. 12, 2025, and designated Bellevue, Washington, as its official headquarters. The round was led by Greenfield Partners. GeekWire reported that the downtown Bellevue office was GoodShip’s first physical location; the announcement does not establish when it opened or whether the company occupies it today.

What GoodShip announced

GoodShip said the Series B brought its total funding to more than $40 million. Greenfield Partners led the round, with Bessemer Venture Partners, Ironspring Ventures, Chicago Ventures and FUSE VC participating, according to the company’s funding announcement. GeekWire also reported the $25 million round and its investors in its Aug. 12, 2025 coverage.

GoodShip was founded in 2022, according to GeekWire. Its report described the company as having a few dozen customers, including Kellanova, Reser’s Fine Foods, Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Tropicana. GoodShip’s announcement separately named Tropicana, KeHE Distributors, Kellanova and KBX Logistics among its customers; those lists reflect what each source reported at the time.

What GoodShip’s software does

GoodShip describes its product as a freight orchestration and transportation procurement platform for shippers. The company says it connects transportation-management systems and other supply-chain systems, analyzes the data, and provides market insights and tools for procurement, carrier management, analytics and collaboration. It is presented as software that works with a customer’s existing systems, not as a stated replacement for every transportation-management or freight system. See GoodShip’s platform description and resources page.

Why Bellevue matters—and what is not known

GeekWire reported that GoodShip had previously operated remotely and that the downtown Bellevue location was its first physical office and official headquarters. The available announcement and coverage do not give an exact opening date, street address, lease details, office size or current occupancy. The headquarters designation is therefore evidence of the company’s stated location in 2025, not proof that the office opened on announcement day or remains occupied in October 2026.

At the time of GeekWire’s 2025 report, GoodShip had nearly 40 employees overall and 14 in the Seattle region. Those are dated figures, not current staffing totals. GoodShip’s resources page lists company updates through Sept. 30, 2026, including product and partnership news, but those announcements do not independently establish where employees are based today.

How to read GoodShip’s performance claims

GoodShip said its revenue grew more than 10 times in 2024. The company also reported that customers saw a 3%–5% reduction in transportation spend relative to the market and a 20% decrease in late shipments. These are company-reported figures; the cited announcement does not provide independent verification or enough methodological detail to treat them as audited, broadly representative results.

In the company-issued funding release, CEO and co-founder Ryan Soskin described freight management as “a black box-decisions made reactively and data scattered across countless systems.” Greenfield principal Itay Inbar said the industry was moving toward “a new operating standard,” with GoodShip at the forefront. KeHE Distributors supply-chain director Andrew Dafnos said the software had made his organization’s procurement process faster and more data-driven. These are statements from the announcement, not independent evaluations.
