Glilot Capital announced a $500 million raise for its Glilot Seed and Glilot Plus funds on September 17, 2025. The capital is intended to back startups in cybersecurity, enterprise software and artificial intelligence (AI). The announcement did not disclose how the money is divided between the two funds.

What Glilot Capital announced

The Israeli venture capital firm said it raised $500 million for Glilot Seed and Glilot Plus. Glilot’s announcement archive dates its coverage of the raise to September 17, 2025. The Times of Israel described the investment focus as local entrepreneurs and young, fast-growing companies in cybersecurity, enterprise software and AI.

This is a venture-fund raise, not a consumer-facing cybersecurity product or a pool of money available for individual investors to buy directly.

Which startups the funds are intended to support

Glilot identified three broad areas: cybersecurity, enterprise software and AI. The announcement described the combined scope of Glilot Seed and Glilot Plus; it did not provide a separate investment mandate for each fund. The coverage also does not establish how much of the $500 million is assigned to either vehicle.

How to read the AUM figures

Assets under management (AUM) is a measure of the assets a firm manages. The figure reported alongside this raise has since changed, so the dates and sources matter.

  • At the time of the announcement: Globes reported that Glilot’s AUM exceeded $1 billion after the raise.
  • Current firm-reported figure: Glilot’s about page, reviewed in 2026, reports $1.3 billion in AUM.

These are figures from different points in time, not competing estimates of the same dated snapshot. The current figure is Glilot’s own reported metric; it should not be retroactively substituted for the contemporaneous report.

What the announcement does not disclose

Globes reported that the institutions backing the raise came from the United States, Europe and Israel, but the reviewed coverage does not name the limited partners. It also does not state the allocation between Glilot Seed and Glilot Plus. Neither the investor identities nor a fund-by-fund split can be inferred from the geographic description or the combined raise.

Glilot’s characterization of the raise

Glilot cofounder and managing partner Kobi Samboursky told Globes: “This raise reflects the confidence global financial institutions have in our unique investment model and track record of performance.” This is the firm’s explanation of what the fundraising signals, not independent evidence of investment performance.
