Three startups representing Pakistan’s National Incubation Center (NIC) Islamabad at GITEX Global 2025 drew attention for distinct reasons: Brainswarm Robotics reported a robotics memorandum of understanding, Najoomi was exploring AI customer-experience collaboration, and EMR Chains showcased a blockchain-based medical-record system. NIC also announced that Najoomi and EMRChains were shortlisted for the event’s SuperNova Pitching Competition. Those are reported event activities—not evidence of completed commercial deals or measurable results.
Which NIC Islamabad startups stood out at GITEX 2025?
NIC Islamabad named Brainswarm Robotics, EMR Chains (also written EMRChains), and Najoomi as its three representatives at GITEX Global 2025. Their reported work spans robotics, AI-powered customer services, and health technology.
They were part of a wider Pakistani presence, not the entire national delegation. In an announcement dated 14 October 2025, Pakistan’s Ministry of IT & Telecom said it facilitated 10 startups at GITEX and that more than 20 Pakistani IT and technology companies exhibited under the national pavilion. These are separate participation counts: three startups representing NIC Islamabad, 10 startups facilitated by the Ministry, and 20+ companies under the pavilion.

Brainswarm Robotics: an MoU, not a demonstrated outcome
TechJuice described Brainswarm Robotics as Islamabad-based and reported that it signed an MoU with WolfTech Robotics at GITEX. The stated aim was cross-border robotics innovation and joint technological development. An MoU records an intended framework for cooperation; the report does not show that the agreement led to a product launch or other measurable result.

TechJuice attributed this statement to Brainswarm CEO and founder Saran Khaliq: “This collaboration marks a pivotal step toward advancing robotics innovation across borders. Through this partnership, we aim to create meaningful technological advancements and real-world impact.” It is Khaliq’s stated ambition, rather than evidence that such impact has already occurred.
Najoomi: AI contact-center technology and exploratory talks
TechJuice described Najoomi as an AI-driven predictive-analytics startup and reported that it and Malaysia-based YB Inspire were exploring AI-powered customer-experience solutions and data-intelligence collaboration. NIC Islamabad’s own description characterizes Najoomi as an AI-powered, humanless omnichannel contact-center solution. These descriptions identify the company’s intended technology area; they do not provide independently measured performance results.

TechJuice quoted Stephan Bosman, identified as YB Inspire’s Co-Founder and Partner, Innovation and Investment: “We’re thrilled to collaborate with NIC Islamabad’s startups and contribute to Pakistan’s growing innovation scene.” The report describes the discussions as exploratory, so this statement should not be read as confirmation of a completed partnership.
EMR Chains: a blockchain-based medical-record showcase
TechJuice described EMR Chains as a health-tech startup that showcased a blockchain-powered medical-record system designed with security and interoperability in mind. Those are design aims in the report, not independently verified security results. The reviewed reporting does not establish that the system has been used in clinical settings, approved by a regulator, adopted by customers, or assessed through published security measurements.

SuperNova shortlist: what NIC confirmed
NIC Islamabad announced that EMRChains and Najoomi were shortlisted for GITEX’s SuperNova Pitching Competition. “Shortlisted” is the confirmed status; the announcement does not establish that either startup became a finalist, won, or received an award.

The coverage highlights three different kinds of activity: Brainswarm’s reported MoU, Najoomi’s exploratory discussions, and EMR Chains’ technology showcase. NIC’s announcements also confirm which startups represented the incubator and which two were shortlisted for SuperNova. The available material does not report attributable customer, revenue, funding, deployment, or impact figures for these three startups, so GITEX participation should not be treated as a performance measure.
