Its strongest use case is finding professional email addresses from LinkedIn and handing leads off through exports, spreadsheets, an API, or CRM integrations. It may suit freelancers and small sales teams, but the advertised credits do not guarantee a correct, deliverable contact, and GetProspect’s terms say paid fees are not refundable. Test your target market before committing to a paid plan.
What is GetProspect?
GetProspect combines a LinkedIn-focused Chrome extension with a searchable B2B database and tools for finding, verifying, enriching, and exporting professional contact data. Its central job is contact discovery—not managing a complete outbound sales operation. The company lists the product and current plan details at GetProspect’s pricing page.

Depending on the workflow and plan, the product includes LinkedIn lead capture, database search, email and company enrichment, domain and file-based lookup, email verification, reverse email lookup, CSV and XLSX exports, team features, and access through CRM integrations, Google Sheets, or a REST API. Confirm which features and limits apply to the plan you are considering.
What does GetProspect find, and what does “verified” mean?
GetProspect is principally designed to find business email addresses. Its Chrome Web Store listing emphasizes business-email discovery, while its pricing page lists phone-number credits separately; do not assume an email-finder plan includes broad phone coverage. The extension and its stated features are described in the Chrome Web Store listing.
#1 Best Overall
- ACCURATE CIRCUIT BREAKER IDENTIFICATION: Quickly locate the correct breaker with precision using the transmitter and receiver of the circuit breaker finder, ensuring efficient electrical troubleshooting
- CLEAR INDICATIONS: The Receiver provides visual and audible cues when the correct breaker is found, ensuring a hassle-free locating process on 90-120V AC circuits
- BUILT-IN GFCI TESTER: The Transmitter includes a GFCI outlet tester, enabling you to inspect wiring conditions and test GFCI devices for added safety
- LIGHT SOCKET AND GROUNDING ADAPTERS: Easily find the correct circuit for a lighting fixture with the light socket adapter, and use the included 3-prong to 2-prong grounding adapter for added convenience
- ALLIGATOR CLIP ADAPTER: Enables testing on bare wires, providing versatile usage options
GetProspect says it checks business-email results before deducting a valid-email credit. Its help page says duplicate requests are not charged and contacts already found can be retrieved again without charge. See its explanation of credits and how they are spent. Check the account’s current billing terms for the exact treatment of each lookup type.
- Found means the service returned an address; it does not establish that the address belongs to the intended person.
- Valid describes a result that passed GetProspect’s validation process. It does not prove the person still works at the company, that the address will remain deliverable, or that unsolicited outreach is welcome.
- Accept-all or catch-all describes a domain that accepts email for many addresses without confirming whether a particular mailbox exists. Such a result is less conclusive than confirmation of a specific mailbox.
- Not found or invalid results are described by GetProspect as generally not charged; confirm how this applies to the particular workflow you use.
How does the LinkedIn extension work?
For LinkedIn prospecting, GetProspect’s extension is designed for Chrome. GetProspect says its other features can be used in other browsers; its guidance is in Which browser should I use?
- Install the GetProspect extension from the Chrome Web Store and sign in.
- Use LinkedIn or Sales Navigator to find the people you want to research. GetProspect says the extension works with Basic/free LinkedIn as well as Sales Navigator and Recruiter, but that does not remove LinkedIn’s own viewing and commercial-use limits; see its Basic LinkedIn account guidance.
- Open the extension to save an individual profile or collect leads from a search page. GetProspect’s instructions cover adding leads from LinkedIn Basic Search.
- Choose between Regular Mode and Scan Mode if both are available for the workflow. Regular Mode visits profiles and gathers more information. Scan Mode collects fields visible in search results without opening each profile, so it may return less detail or lower-quality matches. A visible current-company field may be needed to search for an email; Scan Mode cannot be used for profile-URL imports. Details are in GetProspect’s Scan Mode instructions.
- Review the saved leads in GetProspect, then export them or send them to a supported destination. The company says Chrome must remain open on the relevant tab while a LinkedIn save is in progress; closing the tab stops the process until it is reopened. See the Basic Search instructions.
GetProspect also documents importing LinkedIn profile URLs: open a LinkedIn search page, use the extension’s URL-import option, paste profile URLs one per line, select a destination list, and start the import. Its guide is at How to find emails by LinkedIn profile URLs. The stated daily limits for this workflow are 800 leads for regular LinkedIn search and 1,800 for Sales Navigator; Scan Mode is unavailable for URL imports.
GetProspect pricing and credit value
The following prices and allowances were listed on GetProspect’s pricing page at the time reflected in the available plan information. Treat them as a snapshot, not a guaranteed checkout quote: pricing, plan names, add-ons, and limits can change. The page also advertised 30% savings with annual billing. Verify the live terms before purchase at getprospect.com/pricing.
Recommended Free Tools
| Plan | Monthly price | Valid-email credits | Verification credits | Phone-number credits | Approx. price per valid-email credit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 | 100 | Not listed | Not applicable |
| Starter | $49 | 1,000 | 2,000 | 5 | About $0.049 |
| Growth 5k | $99 | 5,000 | 10,000 | 5 | About $0.0198 |
| Growth 20k | $199 | 20,000 | 40,000 | Not shown | About $0.00995 |
| Growth 50k | $399 | 50,000 | 100,000 | Not shown | About $0.00798 |
The approximate unit figures divide the listed monthly price by the advertised valid-email allowance. They are not the cost per usable prospect: missing records, duplicate or incorrect matches, catch-all domains, and irrelevant contacts can reduce the number of leads you can actually use. GetProspect also lists additional verification credits, with an add-on price observed at $29 for 10,000; check the pricing page for current availability and phone-credit terms.
There is a discrepancy in GetProspect’s own credit-expiration information. Its pricing page says unused credits roll over up to one monthly allowance, while its credit help article says credits are valid for 30 days from purchase. Confirm the rollover and expiration rules in your account billing screen or with support before buying a large allowance: pricing page and credit help article.
How accurate is GetProspect?
There is not enough evidence to assign GetProspect a single accuracy percentage. The G2 listing shows 4.0 out of 5 from 43 reviews in the available snapshot, but individual users report sharply different results: one described accuracy as almost 95%, while another put it at about 60%. Other comments praise the interface and LinkedIn workflow while raising concerns about coverage and basic reporting. These are user experiences, not a controlled test across markets. Read the GetProspect reviews on G2.
Even a technically valid email may point to the wrong person or employer, be stale after a job change, or be unusable for a campaign. Before scaling, compare a representative sample from your own market with at least two alternatives:
- Prepare 100–200 contacts whose current employer and business email you can independently confirm. Include more than one country, industry, company size, job level, and name format; include recent job changes and companies with catch-all domains.
- Record whether GetProspect found an address, the status it returned, whether the person and employer are correct, actual deliverability, catch-all status, duplicates, and credits used.
- Calculate coverage (how many records produced an address), correct-match rate, deliverability, and cost per contact that is correct, deliverable, and relevant. Do not count a vendor’s “valid” label as proof of all three.
- Run the same sample through alternatives under comparable conditions. Keep separate results for regions or segments if performance differs.
This gives you a buyer-specific estimate rather than applying a reviewer’s percentage to a different market.
LinkedIn limits and account risk
GetProspect’s help content states limits of 800 leads per 24 hours for regular or Basic LinkedIn search and 1,800 leads per 24 hours for Sales Navigator search. These are GetProspect’s operating limits, not a safe-harbor guarantee from LinkedIn. LinkedIn’s rules and account-specific enforcement take precedence. GetProspect discusses the limits and related risks in its LinkedIn account safety guidance and terms.
Use the lowest-volume workflow that meets your needs, pay attention to LinkedIn warnings, and do not interpret compatibility with a free account as unlimited commercial access. The tool’s terms place substantial platform risk on the user, so this workflow is a poor fit if losing access to a LinkedIn account would seriously disrupt your business.
Integrations and outreach scope
GetProspect lists HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Google Sheets, a REST API, and CSV/XLSX export among its integrations or data-access options. The pricing page is the place to check current availability by plan. These handoffs can fit a workflow in which a user discovers and enriches leads in GetProspect, then manages sales activity elsewhere.
The available product information supports positioning GetProspect primarily as a finder, verifier, and enrichment tool. It does not establish that it offers a full outbound sequence engine comparable to a dedicated sales-engagement platform. G2 reviewers mention basic analytics and a desire for features such as email warm-up; those comments describe user feedback, not a definitive inventory of every current feature. If sequencing, multichannel campaigns, warm-up, or advanced reporting are essential, verify the exact current product scope before buying.

| Potential advantages | Limitations and trade-offs |
|---|---|
| Focused LinkedIn-to-business-email workflow, including search-page collection. | LinkedIn activity can carry account risk; GetProspect’s limits do not guarantee LinkedIn approval. |
| Free tier and advertised lower per-credit prices at higher monthly allowances. | Credit price is not the cost per correct, deliverable, relevant contact. |
| Email checking is included in advertised plan allowances, and the company says duplicate requests are not charged. | Verification cannot confirm that a contact is the right person, still employed, or appropriate to email. |
| CSV/XLSX export and listed CRM, Sheets, and API options. | Feature availability may vary by plan; verify integrations and limits before purchase. |
| Useful for teams that mainly need contact discovery and enrichment. | Evidence does not establish an all-in-one intelligence and engagement suite; coverage and reporting may be limiting. |
| GetProspect publishes pricing, privacy information, terms, and has a Chrome Web Store listing and G2 reviews. | Its terms state there is no refund or cancellation policy for paid fees, and its credit rollover documentation conflicts. |
Is GetProspect legitimate, and what about privacy?
GetProspect is a commercial SaaS product with an official pricing page, published terms and privacy policy, a Chrome Web Store listing, and third-party reviews on G2. Its privacy policy identifies GetProspect LLC as a U.S. company and says data may be obtained from the web and contributions from users or partners; contact data may be available to other users. That supports calling it an established product, but it does not guarantee data accuracy, account safety, or suitability for every use. Read its privacy policy, terms, and legal help materials.
Using a vendor with privacy policies or data-subject tools does not automatically make your prospecting lawful. You remain responsible for the lawful basis for processing and outreach, required notices, honoring objections and opt-outs, avoiding prohibited or sensitive uses, and complying with applicable state privacy, CAN-SPAM, ePrivacy, and European data-protection rules. Get qualified legal advice for regulated or cross-border campaigns.
Billing terms to check before buying
GetProspect’s terms state that paid fees are not refundable and that there is no cancellation policy. They also say that if a platform blocks the product or requires its discontinuation, GetProspect has no legal or commercial obligation to refund paid fees. Read the current terms before choosing an annual or high-volume plan. Because the company’s credit rollover descriptions also conflict, do not commit to a large allowance until you have confirmed the billing details that apply to your account.
Who should use GetProspect?
Good fit: focused prospecting
- Freelancers, consultants, and small sales teams that mainly need professional email discovery and already use LinkedIn to identify prospects.
- Recruiters, marketers, and agencies willing to test coverage for their own roles, sectors, and geographies.
- Teams comfortable with a Chrome-based LinkedIn workflow and handing enriched contacts to a CRM, spreadsheet, API, or separate outreach system.
Use caution: uncertain coverage or higher operational risk
- Businesses targeting a narrow geography or segment where database coverage has not been demonstrated.
- Buyers who require dependable phone-number coverage, extensive company intelligence, intent signals, or organizational charts.
- Teams for whom LinkedIn access is mission-critical, or who need stronger contractual assurances than the published terms provide.
- Organizations handling European personal data without a clear compliance program.
Look elsewhere: full sales execution or enterprise intelligence
- Teams that need advanced sequencing, multichannel execution, warm-up, or sophisticated campaign analytics in the same platform.
- Large organizations that need extensive account intelligence and sales-operations support rather than contact discovery alone.
- Campaigns where an incorrect identity or noncompliant outreach could create serious reputational or regulatory harm; do not rely on one data provider as the sole check.
GetProspect alternatives by use case
| Tool | Consider it when | How the use case differs |
|---|---|---|
| Apollo | You want contact data alongside broader prospecting and outbound workflows. | More expansive sales functionality may mean more complexity than occasional email lookup requires. |
| Lusha | You are comparing mainstream B2B contact-data products. | Compare regional coverage, direct-dial availability, export rules, and cost per usable contact. |
| RocketReach | You want person and company lookup across a broader professional database. | Compare its coverage and plan economics with GetProspect’s LinkedIn-oriented workflow. |
| Hunter | Your work centers on domain-based discovery, email-pattern research, and verification. | It is more domain/email-oriented than LinkedIn-profile capture. |
| Skrapp | You want another focused LinkedIn email-finding option. | Compare coverage, verification, extension behavior, export options, and credit expiration. |
| ZoomInfo | You are an enterprise buyer seeking broad company intelligence, organizational data, and sales-operations support. | Its broader platform may be excessive if you only need business email lookup at modest volume. |
Do not compare tools by headline subscription price alone. Use the same sample to compare correct and deliverable contact coverage, relevant features, included exports and integrations, and total cost at your actual volume.
