Refurbished devices may contain replacement parts, and Back Market notes that devices are opened during refurbishment, so original sealing is not guaranteed.

Warranty, returns, protection, and trade-in
Back Market’s standard one-year coverage is not Apple’s warranty. It is provided by the seller and begins from delivery under Back Market’s stated U.S. terms. The standard warranty does not cover accidental damage such as drops or liquid damage. If another coupon is already applied, remove it only if the promotion’s terms permit substitution. Do not complete the order unless the intended price appears in the summary.

The device is not as described
Take photographs, preserve identifying labels and packaging, and contact Back Market through the order-support flow. Use the return process for a change of mind and the warranty process for covered defects. If Apple will not provide free warranty service, that may be because the device is covered by the seller’s Back Market warranty rather than Apple’s warranty.
