What the reported Fizz promotion offered
MobileSyrup reported the offer on December 26, 2025, describing it as a discount for new plan activations. The reported discount was 50% outside Quebec and 25% in Quebec. The article gave two examples:
| Historical example in the December 26, 2025 report | Reported promotional price |
|---|---|
| Canada-wide plan with 35 GB of 5G data | $17.50 per month |
| 100 GB Canada/U.S. plan | $23 per month |
These are the prices reported for that promotion, not current Fizz plan prices. Read MobileSyrup’s December 26, 2025 report.
How long did the discount last?
According to MobileSyrup’s report, the discount was calculated against the regular price, began when the customer activated the SIM card and ended automatically after three months. The report also said it would remain if a customer changed plans, subject to Fizz’s limit of one recurring discount per plan. These are terms reported for the historical offer; current official terms confirming them were not available on the pages reviewed.

Is the offer still available, and what should you check?
Fizz’s current official pages show mobile plan options and offers, but do not confirm that this particular three-month Discovery promotion is still available or establish its current eligibility, expiry or pricing. Check the current Fizz offers before ordering, then review the mobile plan options for your location.
To judge the actual cost, compare the regular monthly rate—not just a promotional price—with the plan’s data allowance, coverage, included calls and texts, and any discount duration or eligibility conditions. Make sure you know what the plan will cost after a temporary discount ends.
