A secondary listing puts Gervonta Davis’s purse for his March 1, 2025 fight with Lamont Roach at $10 million and Roach’s at $750,000. These are reported estimates, not confirmed contract guarantees or take-home pay: the reviewed reporting says the fighters’ contract terms were not publicly revealed.

Why these amounts are not confirmed earnings
The listed amounts come from a secondary purse listing. The reviewed reporting on the New York State Athletic Commission’s decision says the fighters’ contract terms were not publicly revealed. No official disclosure confirming the $10 million or $750,000 figures was identified. The Ring’s account does not establish either estimate as a guaranteed purse.
Nor do the estimates establish net income. The available reporting does not itemize any pay-per-view participation, bonuses, expenses, taxes, or management fees. Without those terms and deductions, there is no reliable figure for either boxer’s take-home pay.

The Ring reported a $6,415,815 gate, based on a 2025 New York State tax-return audit. It also reported 16,420 tickets sold and 766 complimentary tickets. The gate is event revenue from ticket sales; it is not either fighter’s purse and cannot be used to calculate how the money was divided.
