Before their June 15, 2024 fight, Gervonta Davis was reported to be expected to earn about $10 million, while Frank Martin was reported at about $1.5 million. Those were pre-fight media estimates—not confirmed final payouts.
Reported purse estimates for Davis and Martin
| Fighter | Reported expected total | Reported base or guarantee | Reported pay-per-view share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gervonta Davis | About $10 million | $2 million guarantee | 70% |
| Frank Martin | About $1.5 million | $500,000 base purse | 30% |
AS USA reported these figures before the bout. The amounts and components are estimates attributed to that outlet, not independently audited accounting or confirmed settlement figures. AS USA
Why the pay-per-view percentages do not confirm a final payout
A stated share of pay-per-view sales is not itself a known cash amount. Calculating a fighter’s final earnings would require the applicable contract terms and sales accounting; neither is established by the available reporting. The reported totals therefore should not be described as what either boxer definitively received or took home.
