What is Gameplay Galaxy?
Gameplay Galaxy is a game studio whose website describes it as a multi-game studio and names Trial Xtreme and Duels among its titles. Its positioning centers on competitive arenas and a broader Web3 gaming ecosystem. The company says the Trial Xtreme franchise has recorded more than 300 million downloads; that is a company-reported figure, not an independently verified measurement (Gameplay Galaxy; company website, accessed 2026).
The company’s proposed Web3 model adds blockchain-linked ownership and trading to game play. In its 2022 announcement, Gameplay Galaxy described a system in which players could own vehicles, racetracks, characters, workshops, and other items as NFTs and trade them through a decentralized marketplace. The announcement also envisioned tournaments and player-hosted competition. These were design plans, not proof that each feature became available.

The amounts are fundraising announcements and reporting, not audited financial statements. The 2024 article’s $24 million total includes the earlier $12.8 million and the later $11 million extension; it should not be read as $24 million newly raised in 2024.

What the studio said it would do with the capital
GamesBeat reported that the extension was intended to accelerate development of Trial Xtreme Freedom and build out a competitive Web3 esports ecosystem. The 2024 coverage described a concept in which players could own tracks and bikes, run events and tournaments, and earn tokens (GamesBeat; VentureBeat).
- Playing: the game itself is the ordinary activity of riding and competing.
- Owning: the announced concept would link certain in-game assets, such as tracks and bikes, to blockchain-based ownership.
- Hosting: track ownership was described as a way for players to run events and tournaments, beyond simply entering races.
- Earning: token earning was presented as a proposed feature, not a verified income stream or investment return.
The cited articles document plans and descriptions, not a feature-by-feature launch record. They do not establish which functions shipped, who could access them, whether players used them at scale, or how any token performed.

Who invested in Gameplay Galaxy?
Blockchain Capital and Merit Circle led both the 2022 seed round and the 2024 extension, according to the announcements and GamesBeat’s report. The 2022 announcement also named Mysten Labs, Solana Ventures, Com2Us, Yield Guild Games, and Hustle Fund as participants. The investor list identifies financing participants; it does not establish that those firms endorse the games or their tokens.

The funding news establishes that Gameplay Galaxy announced a $12.8 million seed round and that GamesBeat later reported an $11 million extension, bringing reported seed funding to $24 million. It also records the studio’s intended use of the extension and its proposed Web3 features. It does not by itself demonstrate product delivery or commercial success.
