Current official pages describe an application process and a wallet system in which charged stickers convert to Gems, but the published details can change and do not establish how much creators typically earn.
What Game Jolt announced in 2022
Game Jolt’s December 1, 2022 announcement described a beta in which fans completed quests to collect charged stickers, then placed them on creators’ posts and livestreams. The announcement said sticker value was tied to a share of Game Jolt’s advertising revenue and that creators could withdraw value from virtual wallets. Those were the company’s claims about the beta at launch—not a guaranteed earnings level or proof that the same terms remain in force today. Read the December 1, 2022 announcement.
The original program was described broadly: the release gave examples including streamers, artists, cake designers, crocheters, game developers and musicians. Its examples included gameplay streams, Minecraft memes, Pokémon amigurumi, fan games and decorated cakes; they should not be treated as a complete list of eligible content.
The beta’s original cohort
According to Game Jolt’s announcement, the private test cohort was selected from creators with 50,000 to 2 million followers on platforms including Twitch, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. Game Jolt also reported more than 700 applications during October 2022 and said 18 creators were first to monetize on the platform. These are historical figures about the beta, not current eligibility rules.

The release additionally reported a 50% increase in signups during November 2022. That is a company-reported figure; the release did not supply an independently verified baseline, so it does not establish a broader growth trend.
How charged stickers and Gems are described now
Game Jolt’s indexed creator help page describes a sequence in which users complete Daily Quests to obtain charged orbs, then use them to place charged stickers on a creator’s post or livestream. The accumulated stickers convert into Gems in the creator’s wallet, which can be withdrawn to a preferred payment account. The help page states that one Gem equals one cent USD. It is undated, and payout mechanics and terms may change, so check the current creator help page before relying on that conversion or making financial plans.

The stated conversion is not the same as a prediction of income. The sources do not establish typical creator earnings, how much support any particular account will receive, or a guaranteed payout. A cent-per-Gem description alone cannot answer those questions.
Who can apply, and what are the stated requirements?
Game Jolt’s creator page says interested people can apply. Its indexed FAQ says applicants with at least 1,000 Game Jolt followers, or at least 3,000 followers on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Twitch and Patreon, will be considered. “Will be considered” is an application threshold, not a promise of acceptance. The indexed creator page also says there is no exclusivity deal.

Because the creator page could not be directly retrieved and its requirements may change, confirm the live criteria and application process on Game Jolt’s creator page before applying. The thresholds above are distinct from the follower range used to select the 2022 beta cohort.
How Game Jolt describes feeds and discovery
Game Jolt describes its Following feed as intended to show content from accounts a user follows and its For You feed as a separate discovery feed. The company’s 2022 CEO, Yaprak DeCarmine, said: “On Game Jolt, fans can support their favorite creators, and content from the creators they subscribe to will never be hidden from their feeds.” That was a company statement in the beta announcement, not independent evidence or a guarantee about present-day ranking or reach. Charged stickers are not marketplace sales or the Partner Program
Game Jolt’s charged-sticker program concerns fan support on social posts and livestreams. A separate Game Jolt Distribution Agreement covers developers selling digital marketplace products, including games, music, artwork, upgrades and add-ons. The agreement lists these options:

The agreement says revenue share and payment settings are handled through the developer account. It also says advertisement monetization is not combined with paid or name-your-price offerings under those terms. These marketplace provisions do not describe how charged stickers work. The separate Partner Program
The agreement also defines an opt-in Partner Program. Gameplay streamers and other online video personalities may receive unique links to marketplace products and a share of revenue resulting from those links. The current agreement text reviewed in October 2026 states a 10% partner share. This is a referral arrangement tied to marketplace product revenue—not the charged-sticker creator wallet. Legal terms can change, so consult the live agreement before relying on the percentage.
What the announcement does—and does not—tell creators
The 2022 release quoted CEO Yaprak DeCarmine saying the goal was to build lasting relationships with followers by putting revenue in users’ hands through “a gamified and fun way that encourages authentic interactions.” It also quoted Erbmaster, identified as a visual artist and Game Jolt creator, describing an active community and smaller specialized communities that could help creators find audiences for particular art or fandoms. These are attributed statements and one creator’s account, not independent measures of platform-wide reach or earnings.
For a creator evaluating the program, the useful distinction is what kind of monetization is being considered: fan support attached to posts and streams, sales of digital marketplace products, or referrals to marketplace products. They have different mechanisms and terms. The available official material explains the mechanisms and application criteria, but does not establish typical income or comparative performance against other platforms.
