The 2024 announcement tied its strategic funding to plans for the $G3 token and development of its Web3 gaming platform; its early-April token-generation target was a plan at the time, not a current launch date.
Which $2 million raise does the headline refer to?
GAM3S.GG announced a $2 million seed round on September 7, 2023, alongside its rebrand from Polkastarter Gaming. The company said the seed funding would support further development. On March 22, 2024, it announced a separate, additional $2 million strategic round.
Those announcements establish two distinct rounds, not a single $2 million total. They do not, by themselves, establish the company’s complete lifetime funding total.
Who participated in the strategic round?
In its March 2024 announcement, GAM3S.GG named Merit Circle, WWVentures, Cogitent Ventures, P2 Ventures, Cypher Capital, Acheron, Basics Capital, OIG Capital, BreederDAO, MetaBros, Hercules Ventures, and BasementDAO as participants. The company also named individual angels Sandeep Nailwal, Gabby Dizon, Jiho Zirlin, and Giulio Xiloyannis. This is the participant list reported by the company, not an independently verified investor disclosure.

What did GAM3S.GG say the funding would support?
The company presented GAM3S.GG as a Web3 gaming discovery and engagement platform. Its described features included curated game listings, guides, reviews, onboarding help, early-access opportunities, quests, and games playable in a browser. These features place the platform between a game-discovery service and a community engagement hub; the funding announcement does not establish how much of the raise was allocated to any particular feature.

In the strategic-round announcement, GAM3S.GG reported more than 350 games, including over 80 browser-playable titles; more than 300,000 registered gamers; over 1 million quest missions completed by more than 100,000 unique quest participants; and more than 80 quests. It also reported more than 450,000 votes at its December 2023 GAM3 Awards.

These are figures the company reported in its March 22, 2024 announcement, which was updated December 2, 2025. They are not independent measurements or current counts. The company’s current homepage separately advertises discovery across 2,000+ games; that broader claim should not be treated as a like-for-like update to the earlier Web3 game-library figure.
What did the announcement say about $G3?
In March 2024, the company described $G3 as a planned token intended to add features and rewards to the platform. Proposed uses included access to exclusive platform features, game rewards, and participation in future game-token launches. The announcement said a token-generation event was planned for early April, alongside a public sale and an airdrop for early users. That was the company’s schedule at the time; it is not a current token-launch date.

Later posts on GAM3S.GG’s official announcements channel refer to staking and buying or trading $G3, as well as token-related gaming-collectible activity and using $G3 to buy an NFT through an OpenSea integration. These posts show that the company later promoted token-related activity. They do not establish the present availability of every feature, the token’s price, or any investment performance.

For anyone considering $G3, a funding announcement and a list of proposed utilities are not evidence of returns or a guarantee that a feature will remain available. Token price, trading conditions, and current functionality are not established by the cited company announcements. Verify current terms and availability directly before relying on a token feature; do not treat the historical early-April 2024 target as an upcoming event.
In the strategic-round announcement, co-founder and CEO Omar Ghanem said the company was “thrilled to onboard our new strategic investors and partners on the newest chapter of our journey, as we continue to empower gamers worldwide to truly make the most out of gaming.” The statement describes the company’s ambition, rather than an independent assessment of adoption or results.
