Galileo FX is sold as trading-automation software, not as a broker. Its seller, Orion Software Development S.r.l., says the software runs user-configured strategies through a third-party platform and the user’s broker. The available evidence describes the product and its risks, but does not independently verify its trading performance or settle claims that it is a scam. Treat advertised results, reviews and forum posts as insufficient proof of either profitability or fraud.
What Galileo FX does—and what it does not do
Orion Software Development S.r.l. identifies itself as Galileo FX’s seller and licensor. The company describes the product as software for automating strategies configured by the user; trades are executed through the user’s broker. The vendor says it does not provide investment advice, financial consultancy, brokerage, trading signals or portfolio management. These are the company’s descriptions, not an independent legal determination of its regulatory status. Galileo FX
The product listing describes compatibility with MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5), and says a compatible broker is required for live trading. It also describes a MetaTrader demo-account option. Compatibility can depend on the current software version, broker and setup, so confirm those details with the seller and your intended broker before buying. MetaTrader product listing
Is there verified evidence that it makes money?
No independently verified Galileo FX-specific win rate, return, drawdown or typical customer outcome is established in the evidence reviewed here. A product’s existence, a favorable review score, an award or a backtest does not demonstrate what customers typically earn or lose in live trading.

Galileo FX warns that performance examples, configurations, statistics and backtests may be illustrative or historical and may not include spreads, commissions, slippage or execution delays. Those costs and conditions can change results; a backtest or screenshot therefore cannot establish future performance. The vendor also says users are responsible for their broker choice, strategy settings, risk parameters and monitoring. Galileo FX risk disclosure
For context—not as a Galileo FX result—ESMA reported in 2018 that 74–89% of retail investor accounts typically lost money trading CFDs, with average losses per investor ranging from €1,600 to €29,000. ESMA said these figures reflected analyses by national competent authorities across jurisdictions. They are historical, broad CFD-market figures, not current data or a provider-specific loss rate. What do the legitimacy claims and user reviews establish?
The vendor’s page answering “Is Galileo FX a scam?” says no and promotes customer satisfaction, awards and positive outcomes. That establishes the company’s stated position, not independent proof of its claims. Galileo FX’s response
Review-platform entries and forum discussions include positive and negative reports, including complaints about performance and refunds. These are individual, unverified accounts; some forum participation may be promotional. A rating or a small set of comments cannot establish typical trading outcomes or prove fraud. Trustpilot also indicates that some reviews were removed as fake. Trustpilot reviews Forum discussions

The sources reviewed do not establish that Galileo FX is itself a regulated broker, nor do they provide an independently verified regulator classification for the software company. The vendor’s position that it is a software provider rather than a financial intermediary is not a regulator ruling. Do not treat either “regulated” or “exempt” as settled on this evidence.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What is the refund policy?
In its 2026 transparency report, the vendor states that downloadable software sales are final and that it has a no-refund policy. That is the company’s published policy; it does not resolve whether mandatory consumer rights, cooling-off rules or exceptions apply to a particular buyer. Check the current purchase terms and the rules where you live before paying. Galileo FX transparency report

What to check before purchasing or using it
- Compatibility: Confirm the current MT4 or MT5 version requirements and whether your specific broker account and intended instruments are supported.
- Broker and costs: Check local authorization, spreads, commissions, execution terms and any hosting costs. The software does not replace a broker.
- Risk controls: Understand every strategy parameter, position size and loss limit, and decide how you will monitor automated trades. Automation does not remove market, leverage, configuration or execution risk.
- Performance evidence: Ask what a claimed result measures and whether it is live, independently auditable and net of trading costs. Do not treat illustrative examples or historical tests as a forecast.
- Purchase terms: Read the current license, refund terms, update policy and support terms before making a non-refundable purchase.
